I've always been a fan of Jordan's film and tv work and I can't
believe the last time anyone got to see him was in 2001. He hasn't
done anything since. I know actors have periods where work is slow
but Jordan is extremely talented and I can't believe no one has
scooped him up yet. When he was in SPEEDWAY JUNKY with Jordan Brower,
he totally stole the show, but since then, on Jesse's career has take
off full blast.

What happened to Jordan? I'm wondering if he's quite acting
altogether. Someone on here said that he's no longer with an angency
and has sort of disapeared. I hope Jordan has fallen into the trap
that so many young gifted performers before him have.... drugs, sex,
drinking.

Here's hoping Jordan comes back again in the future! If anyone has
any info as to what he's been up to, please post it!

But what a banner year that was - he seemed to have a lot of work in 2001,
among them most notable Held for Ransom, where he starred alongside that
golden beacon of youthful effervescence, the One and Only Indisputably
Supertalented ZACHERY TY BRYAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was indeed a great actor who usually played the "dude" or "surfer" type
role quite well. I certainly hope he wasn't typecast, and now that he is
around 22 years old I am wondering about the availability of nonteen roles
for him - as many actors his age are just starting to be looked at to play
teens.

Normally I wouldn't respond to posts like this, but since I can't help but
think there may be a few that are apt to I will save them the trouble.

Stand By Me was filmed in 1985-86, and we know Jordan was still alive in
2001.

I also can't be sure about a lot on Usenet, but I might be willing to bet
this week's pay this really isn't Patton. So whoever you are, stop trying
to cause trouble.

You are correct MJ. That wasn't me. Someone
I do believe is trying to start another flame war.
This time I'm not falling for it. I know the good guys in here
and I know they wouldn't do it. Thanks though MJ
for giving me the benefit of the doubt this time.

Peace,
The real Patton

I'm sorry but maybe I am missing the humor in this.

What did it even have to do with the subject posted?

The dead body the kids in "Stand By Me" were looking for was "the Brower
kid" (I think his name was Ray Brower). The subject matter of this topic
was Jordan Brower. This attempt at humor was pretty far-fetched though,
because most people wouldn't remember something as trivial as that. (Now if
I could remember important stuff instead of trivial crap like this!!
)

Ahh, now I get it.

I had even looked on the imdb to see if there was anyone cast or characterwise
named Jordan or Brower.

I guess the dead body wasn't contracted.

;)

It probably was - after they let the air out of him after filming. ;)

Actually! .... strangely enough, the dead kid must have been contracted
because his name is listed in the credits, even on IMDB (you have to open
up the <more> comment at the end of the first page of cast listings):

Kent Lutrell .... Ray Brower

There are a couple close-up shots of him and the blank expression in his
eyes, so they had to use a real kid. At least he didn't have trouble
remember his lines! ; )

Actually I thought your attempt at humor was pretty funny :)

Nope. Sorry Taurus but if that actually would
have been me that posted the original Media
Jock would have chewed me out. Just like he did
to the real poster. Who ever it was. Now if it were
one of the accepted ones MJ would have congratulated
the guy on the humorious post. But, no problem here.
I have grown used to being chewed out when others
get away with the same stuff.

No, he would not have because we found out there was nothing wrong with the
post to gripe anyone out for. We just didn't really get it at first.

He chewed someone out because they signed your name (for whatever reason) when
the original poster should have realized you are not even an AOLer----which I'm
not so sure the orginal poster was either.

If you had posted it, there would have been nothing to gripe you out for since
MJ can't gripe you out for using your own name.

Gee, I'm sure MJ is just pleased to see how you give him credit for being such
a "jerk".

~sigh~

All the "accepted ones", please rise & take a bow.

;)

You are vastly wearing my violin strings out.

If it were one if the so-called "accepted ones" (as you put it) the point
would be moot because they would not have tried to inflame a war by forging
someone else's handle in a post. (See, I even took up for you and you still
chew me out...)

Also, the "accepted ones" - which is anyone on the group who obeys the FAQ
by staying on topic habitually while not trying to stray it into personal
emotional forum - does not make posts falsely accusing people of what they
"would have" done.

Perhaps YOU would be one of the "accepted ones" if you didn't make such
personally emotionally charged posts such as this one. Note that you are
accepted when you do stay on topic.
