17 year old arrested for plans to murder N-Sync

I am just now hearing this on the news.

N-Sync is appearing in Atlanta this Saturday night. A 17-year old boy from
Tennessee had elaborate plans, including drawings and other papers and
firearms, and was planning on driving to Atlanta and murder the singers.
His mother reported him to the police. If I get any more information that
would be of interest to the group I will post it.

As an update, apparently the teen did not yet have the guns but was planning
to steal them from a local gun store. Apparently he hated the boy-band
because of their popularity with girls.

So sad when youngsters go astray in such a fashion, but gladly the kid's mom
was smart enough to stop this by calling the police. I'm glad the disturbed
boy did not have a chance to carry out his plans.

I first heard this story on local news in Georgia and I think they are also
doing the story on CNN Headline News - or apparently what I am hearing right
now is the local news' cable update on CNN-HN.
