Does anybody know anything about this film? I read an interview with
Singer right when Usual Suspects came out and he said the movie was never
even released on video although it did win some award at Sundance. I was
wondering if with all the hype around Usual Suspects there might be plans
to release it.

Just wondering.

They did release it! About half a month ago it found it's way to the
video store! I haven't seen it in entirety, but the part I saw way back
when was kinda dull. I liked what he did with The Usual Suspects so I
will go see it all to give it a good review. Check for it at your local
video store!

It has been made availible on video. I saw it several months ago when
an independent theatre here in Austin began showing it because of the
popularity of The Usual Suspects. I wasn't too impressed.

It is nothing like The Usual Suspects. There are few complexities in
plots and the acting is only sub-par. It was okay, but I wouldn't
recommend it.

Well... Singer didn't write "The Usual Suspects", Christopher McQuarrie
wrote it and Singer co-produced it and directed it. I don't know who
wrote "Public Access" but I've heard bad things about it also.

"Public Access" was written by...Christopher McQuarrie. It was that film
that turned Kevin Spacey on to them both and helped lead to the financing
of "Usual Suspects".

It is out on video right now.

It's pretty damn good.

BTW, the posts by "Your Name" are mine. It seems that my prefs for
Newswatcher got trashed, I forgot to reenter the info.

"Sean Penn, Tim Roth, and Nick Cage. Tim because of his versatility and ferociousness. He's got this chameleon quality. Sean out of sheer sexual-violence charisma. And Nick Cage just for fearlessness. I don't think that I've ever seen another actor in the history of film that made a career of being miscast and rising to the occasion."
