And the little kids scream "OHMIGOD! It's a Canadian Gay Comic!"

Well, as an old hand at sad-old-hippy cooking, perhaps I should share
my (formerly) secret recipe for Lentil Gunk:
* Fry onions and lots of garlic in oil in a saucepan until soft.
* Add cumin, corainder, turmeric and any other spices you have handy.
Use lots.
* Fry some cubed or diced root vegetables (carrots, swede and sweet
potato are personal favourite choices). In the same pan, obviously.
* Add rice and fry briefly (you need to get the grains coated with
oil). Add lentils, and water. (I use 1/2 mug rice, 1/4 lentils,
about 1 1/2 water).
* Cover and leave until water is absorbed.
* Throw the bloody horrible muck out and phone fer a pizza. You know
it makes sense.

it's no surprise.. i'm only a freshman, but i'm quickly learning about all the
shit that columbia pulls.. it's pretty damn ridiculous.. what's your major?
where did you used to live? when did you get married? ... man.. so many
questions.. yeah.. i'm in Carman and there's all the construction going on
directly outside my window.. it really sucks.. but, besides that, i don't have
any other housing complaints.. well.. type at ya later..

That's good. Any complaints, direct 'em at me. I work for housing. I
can't actually fix much, but I can at least be sympathetic. The sad thing
is, Carman is likely to be one of the best places you ever live at this

standard answer, there
i just drink whatever is the cheapest.. my beer of choice is actually
McSorley's Ale or Guiness on the rare chance that i can afford it that night..
but since bud light is always what i can afford, it's always what i drink..
finals are scaring my little freshman ass with a vengeance.. hope you do well

since you're obviously literate and seem to be able to speak at all, yeah, you're probably counted out immediately..
i've now stayed up for the last three nights and gotten 8 hours of sleep over

yeah.. i ended up w/ a C+ in there.. ohwell.. now it just comes down to what i
ended up getting on my calc final earlier today.. it determines whether i
pass/fail.. i pass/failed calc and i had a D/F average going into the final..
yeesh.. i like to pull it close..

ick
By the time you are an old and crusty senior like myself, you will no
longer torture yourself over finals. I studied maybe 10 hours combined
for the three I had (should have been more, but I slept instead of
studying for nihongo) and spent another 10 doing the last of the stuff for
my bio lab. And a good portion of that bio lab stuff was because of
computer problems. School and finals are weird fake artificial stress.
