(AFS) Administrivia - archive on-line

Scrounging up some hardware, I've gotten the vulcan-l and
vulcan-linguistics archives on-line. I can keep the archives on
line for the next week, until sometime late in the day (GMT) Friday
5 June. That's when things get powered down to be replaced.

The archives are accessible by FTP, at the host ftp.shikahrsoho.com.
Log in as user "list", and the word is "archive". The archive is
complete from 1994 up to, but not yet including, this posting. I'll
make sure the archive includes any additional traffic between now
and the time the list closes. That update will occur after the list
has closed. Be aware that the network link to ftp.shikahrsoho.com
is bandwidth limited, and is capped at about 1 megabyte/minute. The
total archive is about 24 meg.

As a reminder about URL syntax, FTP sites are available thru web
browsers with the url ftp://userid:pass...@host-site-1tJVx4Hg.invalid Make the
appropriate substitutions, and you should get direct access.

If there is any problem accessing the archive, you can email me at the
owner-vulcan-l address.
