If anybody is going to any of the shows at MSG in the next few
nights, try to get on stage for ISHICSC (I wish someone had told me that he
was planning on doing this...). I am still in shock that if I
had made a nifty sign, I might have been on stage singing with
a god!

Holly

P.S. The show last night was phenomenal, but my section sucked
- they wouldn't get up to boogie. Acoustic You Still Touch Me
was amazing!

Holly....

I sang with the song god in Australia.......
I have been following his music since I was a kid...... and spent
heaps of money on rarities !!!!

It made it all worth while........ I even got a hug from him.....(no,
I'm not gay). It was a fatherly hug. He new I was a BIG fan...
He reckoned I was'nt a bad singer ...... wow !

If you want the story I can post it to you... I've still got it as a
memory..... I was on a high for weeks .....

At the Newcastle show in England, a women won a competition on the radio
to go up and sing ISHICSC, but she was so bad they had to get three more
members of the audience up to sing with her...

No offence Ned, but this is not correct. The girl won the competition
yes, but got two blokes up on stage before the song started, and
another woman invited herself up there. One of the guy's, "Little
Keith" ran up and joined them. Little Keith (a fellow Geordie) infact
stole the show, laughing and joking with Sting. They weren't too bad
either.

At nearly all the UK shows - certainly, the Newcastle, Manchester,
Sheffield and some of the London shows we were at - local radio
stations had ran competitions for someone to get on stage on sing, and
Sting always invited others up there with him.

If anyone wants to read reviews of any of these UK shows, they can see
reviews on <http://www.personal.u-net.com/~stockton/>

Sting has invited people on stage during - almost - the entire Mercury
Falling tour. In Japan and Arizona he invited someone to actually play
his bass during the song (Hello Jake !), and one person (Hello Ross !)
has actually sang with him twice, in Vancouver and New York. Ross in
fact was very good (it must be the Cranberry juice !) and Sting was
genuinely impressed giving him an entire solo verse in Vancouver.

Cheers & hello to everyone on the Police Mailing List, which seems to
have packed in temporarily.
