No.
Darth Chef may be appearing here and there, though. As long as Matt & Trey
will take the piss off Scientology (what is not likely to stop ever), he
certainly won't be back.

That's what I meant... ;-)
I wonder when they're going to hang a "Help Wanted" sign out on the school
cafeteria?

I seriously doubt that they ever are going to. I mean, it's not been much of
Isaac Hayes on the "South Park" past four... Five years? So like three-four
seasons at least, so it's obvious that the show can go further without him
On the other hand, it's the "Chef-containing period", first three-four
seasons that is considered the highest-quality-"South Park"-at-its-greatest
by many fans of the show, isn't it?

Still the kids are going to need some sort of mentor like Chef, aren't they?

Somehow - yeah, they are, but look at the dozen last episodes - there was no
"mentor", not even mentioning of him, was there? Yes, it had ups and downs
indeed, but it has proved that Chef's not obligatory for the show to run
further. Sure, his appearances were entertaining and stuff, but personally
I'd like the show to go on without him or any kind of his replacement, even
if it should involve the unavoidable risk of making crappy episodes (like
some in the Season 9 for example). Putting someone in his place won't be the
same stuff I think - who could it be, after all?
The genius of Jerome McElroy was somehow consisting of the fact that it was
voiced by a soul legend with a unique voice, and he was even singing soul
songs with the voice of this particular legend. The only proper replacement
that I could think of is the late Barry White (who could have given his
voice to Chef if he would have been alive today), any other attempt at
putting someone in Jerome's place would just suck big ass IMO, it wouldn't
be the same - whether it would be a rapper, a white guy, or a
Black-Chef-like man voiced with an unknown voice, not mentioning Matt & Trey
getting someone with a voice similar to Chef (please, no, it would be a
suicidal attempt at this character). The best choice would be just accepting
that particular part of episodes as "closed", and using Darth Chef somehow
(how? we'll probably get to know next week).

Yeah, who told you he isn't?
