He'll probably make cameos, but if the storyline isn't "Hero/Dark" from now
on, I doubt he'll be included. Plus there can't really be two hero
hedgehogs.

There should've been a race level between Shadow and Sonic like Sonic CD
with multiple paths and such.

Additions:
- GOOD music this time. Well not to say that all the music in SA2 was bad,
but the music for SA1 was, for the most part, a lot better.
- Ditch the mech's or fix the busted control. E-102's control was a lot
tighter.
- Bring back Amy as a playable character.
- Have the option to turn Omochao on and off.
- First person view mode again
- World Rankings like Sonic Adventure 1 again
- A "hub" of sorts like Station Square again (I liked the Adventure
elements)
- A "race" boss like Sonic CD
- Bosses after each level like the original Sonic's. (little mini-bosses,
not full three minute battles and such)
Oh I could probably think of a lot more stuff if it wasn't hot.

How about DITCH Knuckles? He's not leaving his emerald, so lets just
leave the ME out of it. I hated Knuckles in SA2, he had as much
purpose as Big in SA1.

I always thought that after Sonic Adventure 1, Sonic and co combined their
level up items (from SA1) with the power of the Master Emerald to restore
the city. That would be one theory as to why the gang didn't have their
level up items at the start of SA2. Just a theory though! ^_^

I agree. I enjoyed Flying Battery, but there was a part of Sky deck
(Part 1-when you hit a dashboard-thing and get shot round a corner
where I would always get stopped 'cos the camera couldn't follow fast
enough)

I only enjoyed the snowboard part of SA1's IceCap, so I'd prefer a
more S3-style to the zone

I used to enjoy blasting out such tunes as It doesn't matter, Open
your heart, Azure Blue world (EC), Be Cool, Be Wild and be Groovy
(snowboard) and all three Speed Highway tracks at a million decibels
with the TV sterio setting on 'spacial'

See my want for the Egg Carrier to return. I liked that adventure
field. (I had to map it out for a friend to get a general exterior
layout for a design project in Graphics)

I've been praying for that. Most of SA1's bosses went on too long for
my liking. Esp. the Egg Viper.

How about a time attack feature that DIDN'T require you to be on the
'net
Or:
- More interactive traffic on Adventure stages (I love going back to
SS now just to cause massive traffic jams outside the hotel - wouldn't
it be great if after a while horns started going and drivers started
hurling abuse)
- Eggman's SA2 theme becoming a _full_ song, not just the same verse
looped
- The return of Tikal
- (this may seem a stretch) Like the Saturn made Sonic Jam, Sonic Team
create a 2d version of SAs 1&2 (Okay, so I've seen too many Mega
Drive/Genesis 2d SA1 hoaxes) on the DC for a bit of fun
- Proper downloadable extras not included on the GD-Rom
- More interesting Chao (ie-doggy chao [you give a chao enough
bone-dogs, it becomes one])
I could think of more if my head didn't hurt so much from last night's
party.

Would make an interesting start to SA4, winning back the planet, though it
took 4 years over here.
Other things I'd like:
) Not link ranks to emblems, getting A ranks for emblems is very hard, there
should be a different reward for when you get every charecter straight A
ranks. At the moment the chances are it's the A rank emblems u have left to
finsih all 180.
2) "Megadrive mode" A 2D version of the game, as an all A rank extra maybe?
3) More chao colours, more chao types.
4) A secret Big killing game (we can only hope).
5) Some old style music, the new stuff is good (except Knuckles(although i
liked Meteor Herd)) but we need old style music too. How about hiring Dreams
Come True again to do a few at least.
6) More bosses, there were too few this time round.
7) More interesting bosses: in SA1 and 2 the bosses were mainly boring and
similar, how about some more Robotnik bosses, Egg-o-matics, robots. And some
of the GUN type bosses for the Dark.
8) Fill in the gaps about Shadow's past (after all, he may be back).
9) More different badniks, SA1 and 2 had too few. In previous games there
were 4 or 5 per zone, now there's about 6 or 7 in total, variety please.
10) Don't be lazy with teh charecter themes. Most of them were remixes
and/or too short. Eggman's theme was brilliant but one verse and one chourus
that repeats (although there's a second verse somewhere that loops with the
courus in a second piece of music). Original music that is full length.
11) A play as Super Sonic option like in S3&K. maybe another emblem/rank
secret.
12) Get Tails out of that walker!!! We want the good old tails back.
13) Robotnik should have used the Egg-o-matic, for a start it looks so much
better.
14) Better scene select, be able to choose any cinematic, not have to play a
level or two to get to one you want.
15) A play through option to watch the cinematics in sequence after
completion.
16) A better transformation sequence, currently it's little more than a
flash as they change, in Sonic 2, 3 and K there was a gradual change, in
colour and shape, he morphed, in 3D it would look so good.
17) Did Shadow survive?
18) A few more Sonic levels compared to the others, it is after all SONIC
Adventure.
19) The Death Egg, Robotnik's ultimate weapon has been forgotten about and
would look so good in 3D

That's one of the first things I noticed. Gotta admit, It sure adds to replay
value. I still think the similarities to Rouge from Powerstone are creepy.
And an even more bizarre trick: In the original powerstone, play arcade mode
as Rouge. Win a round in your super mode, and when you see the victory pose of
her on the flying carpet, hold down A to zoom in and use the thumb pag to
change the angle. You'll notice some interesting decoration that SOA would've
cut out of the US version if they had noticed...

The Sonic 3 version or the Sonic Adventure version?. I
personaly appreciate the games that are capable of not having the
stereotypicals "snow stage" and "desert stage". Sonics accomplished that
until Sonic 3 & K (which had them both).

Um, Hidden Palace would be great, but Dust Hill was almost non-existant,
it was very far from being something with personality IMHO, so it would
be another new stage for me.

Well, I don't think that would make a great difference. The difference

Um, I think Hyper Sonic was a mere resource to justify having to re-get
the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic & Knuckles, at last it was barely different
and I'm sure without the splitting in 2 carts wouldn't have existed. In
addition, its colors now remind me of Chirstina Aguilera's hair (!).

Don't know, but a game with Sonic, Rouge, Shadow, Knuckles, Eggman, Mecha
Sonic, Metal Sonic and the two or three Chaotix characters (and assuming
Tails and Chao) could be a bit overloaded... :)

This would be great.
I personally would like:
- The return to a more abstract, stylish and less-realistic graphical
style.
- Some stage with the Wacky Workbench jumper-floor.
- Better and simpler control.
- More different paths in the stages.
- Keeping the 60 fps.
- Maybe time travel a la Sonic CD, but only if it required a bit of
ability to make the travel.
- Better script and story or no story at all.
- Having a Dreamcast version :-), I know this is the hardest of all.

I'd be very much satisfied with a 3D version of Sonic CD. In fact I wouldn't
be satisfied by anything else to be honest.
So Sonic CD on the Sonic Adventure 1 engine (with minor modifications of
course) would suit me fine...
Or at least the Sonic Adventure 1 Sonic model that does the proper blur
thing in spin attacks, as well as the simpler controls.
And of course restoration of the speed attack thing from CD would also be a
must in that game (you know, hold up + action)

2-player version of the final boss from SA2... One of you as Shadow, one as
Sonic, ganging up on him while he attacked BOTH of you, and being able to
see his lasers screeching through the air and hitting your partner... It
would be a great bonus. I'm surprised it wasn't in SA2, frankly.

Same here. Tearing up zones as Super Sonic is a favorite pastime...
Wouldn't it be great if SA3 would have an S3&K Special Stage MiniGame? That
would definately be cool...
That's what I miss about the first series: in game special stages...
