Oh great, now I've gone crosseyed in the confusion.
I wouldn't that'll happen, anyways, at least not with Sony. Microsoft is the
only company enough deep enough coffers to out-spend and dominate over Sony
in any particular market, and vise versa with Sony over MS.
For the past five years, video games have equated to PlayStation, just as
the equated to the NES back in the 80s. Sony's computer divison will
continue to toss lots of money at PS2 (and judging from the money they take
in from EverQuest, they have plenty to spare), and MS will throw money at
the XBox (and considering how many individuals as well as companies by mass
amounts of all that stuff they make, they have penty of money too). Somebody
will wind up on top.
Nintendo and Sega will go on doing what they've been doing, which is making
games. When the GameCube comes out, expect Nintendo to make it's presense
known, but not with the fury and media frenzy of the PS2 launch. Nintendo is
a company which would much rather shove advertisements for their software
down your throat, not the hardware. And that's a much smarter move.

On the one hand, Bowser could probably rip most of Robotnik's inventions
apart with his claws. On the other hand, Robotnik's only dealt with fast
opponents up until now - a slow-moving one that can't escape his bombs and
lasers would probably be an easy target.

indiscriminately when you're fighting on top of the Great Fox.

Creativity. Usefulness. And above all, more adaptable hardware, which = a
bigger game library.

You know, I was actually surprised you said this. "Paper Mario,"
the game that we've got on demo where I work, looks great. It, un-
like "Super Mario 64" (poop), makes me want to get a Nintendo
64. Sure, it is cute, but it's insanely reminiscent of the good ol'
Mario platforming days. "Conker's Bad Fur Day" looks to be hil-
arious, too. My manager received an advance copy, and every-
thing he's described sounds hilarious. Oh yeah, and add "Sin And
Punishment" to the list of games that make me wish I still had
my 64... and "Zelda: Majora's Mask"... and "Ogre Battle 64"...
and... I'm gonna go broke because of videogames...
Oh yes, and to mention something else: I'm more excited about
the Game Boy Advance than I am the GameCube. I don't believe
I'm alone in that, but... yes. And such.
