Help: SonicCD Doomsday zone

Help !
I'm playing Sonic & Knux Collection, and I'm on Zone 14, DOOMSDAY
ZONE.
First bit, fly through boulders and get enough rings to say alive.
Yup, fine.
Second bit, kill the spaceship with it's own missiles. Well, took
some doing, but now I've got it.
Next bit. Fy through more boulders getting rings... AND ?
What next ? I can fly and fly and fly and NOTHING HAPPENS.
I can keep up there for my full 10 minutes. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO
IN THIS BIT ?
Please tell me before I go mad. And I do mean that !

And whilst I'm here, after this bit, how much more HELL do I have to
go through, before I can complete the game and continue working on my
degree ?

Please email copies of any responses, so I get the answer ASAP. I
_really_ need to know.

Actually, you're not meant to fly into the rocks. That's why they are there,
to slow you down. Anyway, here's how to defeat Robotnik.

After pressing the jump button very fast, you will see missiles headed your
way. These won't kill you, but will cause you to lose control for a few
seconds so avoid them. Eventually you will see Robotnik's ship. Keep clear
of the energy balls coming at you, and wait for him to launch the rockets.
These will home in on you, but position yourself so that the rockets hit the
'head' of the ship and after a few hits the ship will explode. Then Robotnik
gets away in a big robot, holding the Master Emerald. Keep pressing jump
fast and avoid the missiles coming at you. Fly into the middle of the robot
to hit it. This will knock you back, but keep pressing jump and you will
soon catch up again. Four hits ought to finish him off. Then sit back and
enjoy the end sequence.
