So the Katana is in fact called the Dreamcast. Personally I'm
surprised I haven't heard too much about it on the Net. The most I've
heard is that Sega have announced fully their plans for the Dreamcast
system to US and Japanese journalists yesterday, but I read that on
Cannel 4's Teletext Digitiser magazine, and not here in the fandom. Keep
up, lads! *B^D
However, I did get something about it through the Mailing List
today - is anyone going to post it here for the uninitiated?
Or whatever. *B^'

I don't know about anyone else but as I get info, I post it up here. I get
Next Generation magazine and, I think, they have good reports for the
system. All I've got to say is I can't wait for it to come out! That's for
sure!!!

Oh well, weirder things have happened. I can't stand it personally, I
look it for 25 seconds before vomitting violently. But maybe it's
because I just plain don't like it...

Hey, David!

I heard about that, too! From Zifei's page! Sounds like something
good is about to happen to Sega and Sonic fandom once this system comes
out! :) You really come and visit us at Zifei's Mobius Forum someday,
David! I'll give the URL when I have a chance.

Yeah. The one good thing on Teletext. It's this daily computer
magazine written by a bloke who's very like Vic Reeves, and it's
absolutely hilarious as well as being spot-on correct about everything.
Have a look. Page 170 on 4. Oh, and when you get to the letters page,
wait until the first/last page for the Man Diary. He has a different
occupation each week and he's hilarious. *B^D

Did anyone ever tell you that you tend to overreact? *B^)

But it's true, Teletext is rubbish. However, Digitiser is great!

*Looks at the photos* Whew! Thank gawd it's got a little joystick. Used
to playing on Bro's N64, I get really annoyed with simple 4-way D-Pads.
Except on Game Boy, for some reason I'm quite attached to the D-Pad
there. Hmm. Yep, that really does look very nice. And look at that
little card thingy! Hopefully Sega release a few actual games for that,
a-la-Game Boy. I mean it'd be a good step, as GB is still popular today.

I read Digitiser even though it is usually a load of biased crap. According
to them we won't get it for 18 months after the Japenesse so I am getting it
on import and getting it switched.

Sometimes more than that. I like Chester Fisho. DO you remember when Fat Sow
decided to be NICE?
