And Shadow (his name is revealed) looks nice. And it's swell and all
that ReSaurus is making a third series... but...

Blimey, I feel like one of the few people who's actually really excited about this. I mean, hurrah! New Sonic characters! Rouge is certainly not Amy or Tikal. I bet she could kick the crap out of Sonic any day, and her ears are cool. Well yes, her clothes leave much to be desired but if she's a villain like I suspect, it works. And Shadow, oooo. I really, really like his design. So there. Gah, I'm ill so I'll go and lie down now.
I can't see her flying about though, she's far too top-heavy. Maybe Sonic Team have been playing too much Tomb Raider.

With the shoes, instead of having the white stripe going down the shoe in the
middle, it goes over the top. Perhaps these are new light-speed like shoes?

Looks like Sonic Team is introducing a new Japanese plot theme with each
game, now. Sonic 1 had the 7 Chaos Emeralds, ultimate sources of power.
Sonic 2 had kitsunes, and revealed that those Emeralds could transform Sonic
into Super Sonic. Sonic 3 introduced a naive guardian, who is tricked and
betrayed (not sure about that one). SA had Chaos, the guy who destroyed the
world a long time ago, and who is starting to do the same thing now. Now in
SA2, maybe we'll have people transforming ala Dr. Jackell and Mr. Hyde, as
well as Grandia 2's Elena and Millenia.

Nah, in my personal opinion. If you look at Rouge properly you'll see that she's actually been designed really well. Those neat little wings, the cool huge boots, her ears! I mean, wow! Plenty of designers would have said, "man, we can't give a female character huge ears in a video game. That's completely unappealing, even if she is a bat." But they did, and they look good. She doesn't even need your Swirly Anime Hair which is always the first thing you put on a fan character (I know, I've been there...). I like Rouge, she's just completely different to the other official female Sonic characters. The cute Amy, Tikal the pacifist...I'm just praying that Rouge is a bitch. *:-)

When Aderack and I were playing PSO last night, he asked me if he had seen
"Rouge" (it worked for the Power Stone character... but eeeewww....), and,
assuming he was referring to another "Nails" rumor, responded sarcastically
that I was "really surprised that Naka had gone ahead with that."

If this were on a fansite, I wouldn't believe it. I mean, look at Sonic
compared to Shadow - doesn't look like the same toy company, does it?

But Nails The Bat was always rumoured as Shadow's equivalent to Tails. If
this is true then Rouge is immediately rendered Excellent. She's the Sonic
Universe's first bad girl. So far there's been Amy, and she's just meant to
represent the typical young Japanese girl. But now we've got a fighter. As
Abby said on the phone earlier, this will probably happen:
Rouge fans: Ha! Look how cool Rouge is!
Sally fans: Yes - another rubbish female character! Look at Sally, she's
independant!
Rouge fans: So what's Rouge then? She's actually nasty!

characters are worth a lot in their own ways. Their relationships with the

Wow! I've never been known to be a Normal Person before (since I don't
really care for all three characters... except, of course, for Rouge - although
