No, a Sonic and Knuckles RPG was rumoured but never happened, although
apparently Sonic, Knuckles and Eggman are the only playable charecters.
> 2. Only has Sonic and Knuckles as playable characters
I think I just answered that stupid boy, see above.

Replace rival with hedgehog, that is all that is known, we don't know if
he's good or bad.

The truck chase gives it away.

There is a showdown as well as:
Justice/Evil
Yin/Yang
Light/Shadow
Creation/Destruction
Truth/Lie
Origional/Fake
Future/Past
Chaos/Cosmos
Hero/Dark
Master Emerald
Highspeed Escape
World Conquest
Sonic the Hedgehog
Knuckels the Echidna
Dr. Eggman

Revenge
Chaos Emerald
Top Secret Weapon

From this I'm hoping for Metal Sonic, expecting Death Egg and revenge could
be either for Robotnik or Chaos!

No it wasn't. Sonic and Knuckles RPG was an entirly seperate game, which
ended up being a false rumor.

Not True. Eggman is a playable charecter, and Tails WILL be in SA2,
according to Sonic Team, but he might not be playable. It HAS been
confirmed though that Amy WILL NOT be in SA2.

I think all the ones that stay within Manhattan are entirely or almost entirely
underground. All the ones that travel outside of Manhattan travel above ground.
I don't take the subway a lot, so I can't really tell you more than that.
>4. Is set in a Los Angelos like city (C'mon, like Station Square wasn't
>New York)
In the game, Station Square was nothing like New York, unless you view tall
buildings as conclusive evidence. Sure, there are a couple of similarities...
For instance, the deadly beach water could be taken as a reference to Coney
Island. And the number of characters out to kill you in Twinkle Park confirms
this reference... but other than that, Sonic Team got New York all wrong. The
cars that stop for you without complaint, the lack of street merchants, a
burger 'shoppe', the proximity to a tropical rainforest (you'd have to transfer
at least TWICE to get a rainforest from here), not to mention the fact that
Sonic wasn't forced to accept a SINGLE FLYER! What's up with that?
Unless, of course, you're referring to Archie. In that case, it's most
definitely New York, starting with the logo on the trains, through to the
artifical sky, air and cheese and ending with the barcodes on everyone's
forehead. So true, so true.
At ALL.

Nah, that was just rumour and there's probably no truth in it.

Right now confirmed playable characters are Sonic, Knuckles and Eggman
(replacing E-102 gamma it seems). Amy Rose and Big have been dropped because
they're too slow. :) As for Tails and "Nails"... we'll just have to wait and
see. :) (Tails will definitely be making SOME kind of appearance...)

Maybe - OR all against something else.

Really? I think NYC's subway city is extensive - or extensive enough, anyway.
I've never been in a situation where I need to transfer more than once to get
from within a few blocks of point A to within a few blocks of point B. Do you
have some sort of map of the London system?
[I sincerely apologize for the following url... what can you expect from a
government-run site?]

2Fsubmap.htm%26back2url=%2Fvisitnyc%2Fnbhd%2Fgetnbhd.asp%26nbhdid=20%26boroid=3
Hm. Maybe it's not as extensive as I thought. Well, when coupled with the bus
lines, it's as extensive as I need it to be, and that's what counts.
...to me, anyway.

First, is there a difference between underground and undersoil? Second, I
wouldn't say that system that is almost entirely underground throughout
Manhattan (only on the very edges, where tunnel meets bridge, do the trains
come above ground) only *occasionally* goes underground.

Who? Eggman and Knuckles?
No, Eggman and Louis JM.
Aw, be quiet. I'm on an anime group (non-hentai) that has people of all
opinions, but there's nobody saying the yaoi fans are "flaming homosexuals".
There is the occasional 13-year-old female's "Eew, how dare you suggest my
dreamy fave char is gay!!!" post, but you can't help that.
I, personally, only bother because I know a Yaoi Fangirl pretty well (she
bitched that FF9's odd characters meant that it was nigh impossible to play
matchmaker. ^^*) and strangely, her interest rubbed off on me. I however,
don't agree with anal stimulation no matter what gender is involved, nor do
I lust for real-life guys, so you can hardly call me gay.
Anime (and some game) characters are usually drawn pretty attractive
(especially if you like the type where you can't tell if it's a girl or boy
^^*), so even though someone may be pairing couples, it's possible their
Real Life orientation is still an enigma to you.

Does anyone remember when a while ago, Fnoo published the list of songs that
would be in Samba de Amigo, and there was one called Opa Opa, and that got me
all excited, and I ran off to Napster, only to find a song called Opa Opa that
was written by Antique, a band composed of Greek guys who moved to Sweden to
sing Spanish-oriented songs in French, or something to that effect? And we all
decided that "opa" meant Grandfather in this case?
Anyway, if my latest Napster search is correct, it seems that's what the Samba
de Amigo song is based off of. I don't know whether or not Sonic Team was
trying to refer to Fantasy Zone when they picked that song, but...
Fate and Napster work in mysterious ways...

Ooh.. And Knux was drawn rather slurply in the two issues of the comic I
have ever seen.
I'd cut out all the Eggman, but they're probably using paper filed down from
space shuttle metal, just to spite me.
No.

>He asked why RPG heroes are always girlyboys.
Because that's one of the requirements of being an angsty, pensive anti-hero.
Personally, I feel the whole "reluctant hero/anti-hero" thing is a load of
crap. Either you are a hero or you aren't, there's no middle ground. That's
one of the reasons I like Sonic so much, he is a hero, case closed. When
Robotnik starts making trouble, he doesn't stand in a corner and brood about
it, he goes out and DOES SOMETHING, dangit.

I like the Terry Pratchett Hero Vs Wizard angle. The graphic version of the
light fantastic does it particularly well.
That's why I liked Cid Highwind. He's heroic, but he isn't one-dimentional
either, he's still got fears and aspirations (Namely, going into space)

Hey! My... my character is that way... ::sniff, sniff:: you make me feel
sad...
By character, I mean Raz Masters -- not as my alias, but, the actual
character -- which you all would've seen, had you gone to my art galler-
ey. Though he doesn't look like that anymore, since I finally agreed to
stick him in an original universe after 50,000 years of keeping him a
Mobius fan character. And stuff. I don't draw him anymore, however,
'cause I draw humans as well as I enjoy sucking on turds... bug Yasha
about that, she draws 'em a whole helluva lot better than me.
So, uh, yeah. Guess I'm standing up for anti-heroes, or something. I
actually usually think they're wussies, but c'mon, not every anti-hero
is like, well... gay, and, stuff. Or something.
I humbly apologize for this post of babbling nonsense. You must ex-
pect such of me at 5:30AM.

That's the same as me at 10:45 on a friday night after my sainsburys shift.
I suppose Mach's a SORT of anti-hero. Actually, he reminds me of Vampire
Hunter D. They're both Mercenaries of sorts, but they'll fight on the side
of good under all circumstances, and just because they've seen death and
fight for their lives, they're not beyond honor and love. Or something like
that.
> So, uh, yeah. Guess I'm standing up for anti-heroes, or something. I

Well, as long as the Anti-hero's done well enough, and isn't some sort of
Cloud Strife-esque punk, then it's fine. And on a side note, If you ever
want somebody who draws humans EXACTLY like David Gonterman, ask me. It's a
terrible curse. Terrible, Terrible, TERRIBLE curse. Although I'm getting
better all the time. I hope.

I agree with you though. Anti heroes are good. However, they're only
good if they get the character development, background and the like.
