Hello.

Hey, where are your comments about the new Sonic cartoon that is in the
making? I expected a _huge_ response, so I could bury them with mails,
but all I got so far is _TWO_ mails about this subject...

C'mon, send me your opinions, the more the better. The address is

comm...@deco.franken.de

Thanks a lot

C'mon people, you as fans should be the most concerned about this latest
development involving the Sonic universe. If we don't raise our voice
about this, who else will?

Ummm... I never did like the Sonic cartoons, but this new one just
sounds downright awful.

I think the idea of that is stupid. It seems as though they're trying
to aim at a younger audience, instead of the all-ages audience of the SAT
am cartoon. I think it would be better if the characters like Princess
Sally, Bunnie, Dulcy, Rotor, Antoine, and Tails were in it too. Also,
IMHO, Scratch, Grounder, and Coconuts should be in it too, as Robotnik's
evil lackeys. Or maybe have Nack the Weasel come on once in a while.
Or maybe Knuckles and the Chaotix could come on, too.

I too really miss the old satAM Sonic, but that's all I miss (aside from
the classic Sonic Sega games). Just Sonic's likeness coming back to TV
doesn't really excite me. The weekday Sonic is awful, which goes to show
you that Sonic M. Hedgehog does not a good series make. It was the
combination of the characters, especially the chemistry in their
relationships, and the surprisingly dark (at least for a satAM show) plots
and atmosphere that made Sonic the Hedgehog good. While I won't dismiss
the possibility that the new show will be good without having seen it, and
will of course watch it the moment it comes out, the concept sounds pretty
arbitrary and stupid. And I know that just harping about it won't do
anything, at this point it seems like the new show is far enough along in
development that there's nothing we can do except harp. There's no Sally,
no Bunnie, no Rotor, no Tails (any Knuckles?)... all we can do is watch it
and then see what we can suggest to be improved upon; and then, in all
likeliness, nothing will be done about it.
