Shirley Manson, the Scottish, red-haired goddess who sings for the band
Garbage, can now add "Actress" to her resume! See her in the second season
of the American television series <u>Terminator: The Sarah Connor
Chronicles.</u> I've yet to catch an episode myself, but I'm told that she
does very well for her character, hearing this from relatives who have
never heard of her before.

She's kick ass as Catherine Weaver, the CEO of a technology company.
Catherine is in reality a shape shifting Terminator who has eliminated
several people. Her main task is to find and protect the original
program that will eventually turn into SKYNET, the program that makes
the terminators!
She also discovers that she has a daughter to take care of! In their
first meeting the girl knows something is up. Shirley is wonderful as
Catherine. In fact, Butch Vig called her up and told her he approves
of the character!
