Argh! I've been using imap for some time, with no problems. Suddenly
the folder view for my imap inbox is all messed up - instead of showing
"from" "subject" "date/time" and "size" across the top "menu" bar, it has
only one long bar with "from" on it, and for each message, it only shows
the "from" field, no subject or anything else!! It's as if I elongated
that field all the way across the window by dragging it across, only I
*didn't!

I tried creating a new IMAPS profile, to see if that would help, but it
didn't help, it did it with the new profile as well.

I'm hopeful, because it is *only* doing it with the inbox, none of the
other IMAP folders.

Does anybody have any suggestions???

Thank you!

Anne

Anne:

I'd suggest that, with Pegasus Mail shut down, you try renaming the file
STATE.PMJ in your home mailbox directory to STATE.PMJ.OLD, then restart
Pegasus Mail. If this doesn't work, the try the same thing with
DESKTOP.PM0. STATE.PMJ stores information about window sizes and
positions, as well as information about what filter sets and identities
you have "attached" to your various folders. I would suspect that it
also stores metric information for the folder window's header column.

Also, assuming that you're using 4.01, is the folder window header messed
up only when you open the new mail folder in its own window, or is it
also messed up in Preview mode ?

Regards

Things usually work just before they break.
Otherwise they'd break sooner.

And this:

BTW, even simpler, you can just hold Ctrl and press the "-" key on the
keypad to reset the column sizes while that mail folder window is the active
window in WinPMail.
