Just some nice pictures that would make good wallpaper for a 1280x1024
pixel Windows computer. (I get tired or the "same old stuff".)
Too few pictures have that resolution; and they just don't look as
good when "expanded to fit".
Some nice dragon pictures have looked good (I've got two); and some
scenery, or anything pretty would do nicely, now that I've got a big
drive (got about a year ago now) that can hold a FEW without being
overloaded.
It's just that too damned few really NICE pictures that I've seen ever
have that resolution. But I have seen a few nice dragon pictures that
size ... and you mentioned SC might have some.
I went over to alt.binaries.dragonz; and found:
Mostly SF stuff ... No dragons at all.
So, LIke suggested, I thought I'd pop in here.
It's late ... 2:09 in the morning.
The wife is complaining about me staying up late.
Bizy baksun.
I posted some dragon pictures early this month, about two weeks ago. If
you can't get them.....I can repost if that's what you wish.
Just let me know Frank....happy to see you.

Just any LARGE ones suitable for Wallpaper.
They don't have to be Dragons; though I *like* dragons.
Pretty scenery, kids (decent), space-pictures, or even art.
Or ... If some kind soul could point me to where I could find some
myself. The wallpaper that comew with Windows gets rather boring.
And a new picture usually wears out after about a week.
So, I like to rotate.
Thanks.

I can post some of my old ones, and search through my library for some
large ones fitting your criteria.

Searching the libraries right now, thanks Oldfang.
I've got about 167 mixed bag of images that are at least either 700 x * or
* x 700. Fantacy, Eschers, flowers, Fractals, Sunsets, oh.. and Tarrot
cards. Should I post them?

I've memorized most, but not all.
Cluttered?
LOL.........I don't see it as being cluttered up in the slightest.

>That's country stuff, is it?
Used to be the theme-song of (if I remember rightly) a radio show.
Can't remember which one.
"Howdy Neighbor, howdy! Get out and come right in."
"We'll make a bowl of gravy, to sop yo' biscuits in."
"Boil a pot of coffee, and kill the old fat hen."
"Make enough of fine grittles, to feed the hungry men."
"Drive yo' wagon in the yard, and turn the donkey loose."
"Shoo that houn' dog out' the way, and watch that bitin' goose!'
"Howdy neighbor howdy. Come in and sit right down."
"Really glad to see you, and how are things in town?"
" ... been wondrin' how you been."
" ....and let the fun begin."
Something in there about getting a fiddle down, that I don't remember
offhand.
I'm sure I made a couple of mistakes in my rememberences too.

Hey......candles are always nice...:)
Don't know how accurate this is but hope this is of help:
*********************************************************************
http://porterwagoner.com/forums/Porters_Message_Board/posts/296.html
HOWDY NEIGHBOR HOWDY
Howdy neighbor howdy, get out and come right in
We'll make a bowl o' gravy to sop your biscuits in
Bile a pot o' coffee, and bake a big fat hen
Cook enough country ham to feed a hundred men
Drive your wagon in the yard and turn your donkey loose
Kick that ole hound out o' the way,
and watch that bitin' goose
Oh, howdy neighbor howdy, come in and sit right down
Come on and tell us all the news, how are things in town
We're so glad to see you,
been a'wonderin' how you've been
Everybody's feelin' fine, so let the fun begin
Git the banjo off the wall and tune it up in A
Play some good ol country tunes
like Grandpa used to play
-[Buck Trent, electric banjo break]-
Go and git your fiddle down,
play the tune that I like so
Somethin' about Ole Man Clark, I think his name was Joe
-[Bluegrass fiddle break]-
[repeat chorus, top]
Note: The above lyrics are from the title track on Porter Wagoner's album
RCA-Camden CAS-2409 (1970). The original recording, 45-rpm RCA #8257,
has pedal steel guitar instead of the fiddle.

That's it!
At least now I have more info than I had before.
The full lyrics and the author.
It always kinda' got my heart; just like that old poem about, "Guest
you are welcome here."
Thanks.
At least now I've got something to search for.

It's the one.
I think the one I used to listen to was the old 45; but can't be sure.
Somehow I vaguely remember fiddle music too.
>Thanks bud....tried, but can't yet find it yet, must be rare.
Yep.
Sadly, it seems nobody ever recorded it on CD. ;-{
