This act reveals much (more to come in the next act). The Silver
Crystal materializes from Usagi's tear and glows with great power. It
almost restores the three dead (sleeping?) generals, but then the
revival fails and the three turn to stones. Metalia also felt this
power deep in the caves at the North Pole. Mamoru was near dead, then
partially restored by the crystal before being kidnapped to the Dark
Kingdom. There seems to be some odd connection here as references keep
being made about Mamoru absorbing part of the crystal, but not in any
detectable way. Usagi regains her memories and her back history is
shown. Usagi was the Moon Princess, Serenity from the Silver
Millennium, Mamoru was Prince Endymion from Earth. Metalia took over
the minds of the people of Earth and the generals and causes them to
attack the Moon Kingdom. Endymion attempted to stop the attacks and
was killed, struck from behind.

It appears that Luna and Artemis were physically moved from the Moon
to the Earth held in hibernation in little capsules until the present
time. It's not yet clear how this happened.

Usagi's body and hair is physically changing into that of the
Princess. It's not just a transformation.

Mixxzine kept the names Endymion and Princess Serenity. So far, they
seem to be doing a decent job.

Not to fear. :)

I intent to keep going even if it takes me months, but it is good to
know that at least someone is reading this. :)

I've been reading along the notes, although I wish I did pick up the mangas
when they were around. I know why I didn't at the time; part was due to
lack of funds, but realistically it was more of embarrassment. I was about
19-20 years old at the time when I found out about Sailor Moon, and knew of
the mangas, but trying to explain back then to people who knew nothing about
anime got you the "Oh you're one of them" looks. Now that I'm 33 and anime
has become more mainstream in the US, I still get those looks, but either I
don't care anymore or have found folks who share my interests more. So back
then, while I watched the American version of the show (at 5:00 am in the
dorm basement; it was the only place where cable was hooked up), I paged
through the mangas in the bookstores but never bought them. Maybe this
spring with some tax return money I'll go digging through the web in hopes
to find the volumes somewhere.

However Phoenix, I will thank you for 3 reasons: 1)To remind us that any
anime can stand the test of time as long as we remember it. 2) In regards to
Sailor Moon, it's nice to know there's quite a few who still care; we just
need to speak up more. 3)The last one was it reminded me that I had not seen
PGSM yet. Originally I was a naysayer when I heard about it, mostly because
SM had a place in my heart and the thought of a live action idea went
against it. I followed along the discussions, but never became involved.
I have recently finished the series however; overall I was very impressed
with it, a few minor sticking points that drove me nuts, but at the end of
it I actually was sad that it ended so soon.

Geez and I thought I wasn't going to get mushy.

Ahh well better late then never I suppose. I'll probably post those
thoughts in another message if anyone's interested.
