ok, some of my friends and me that have seen almost all 200 eps of sm, think
there should be another series of it. So im going to ask, should there be
another SM series, what would it be about, which sailors, should thier be new
sailors??

I was thinking there should be one that shows the wedding of darien and serena
and the creation of crystal tokeo, and how the negaverse attacked it. It sould
show what happens during the war when queen serenity sent small lady to the
past, and how she feel into a deep sleep.

It should have all 9 sailors and maybe a couple new ones, some sailors from
another galexy, maybe the sailor scouts should goto anther galexy and maybe
thats how darien and serena get closer together then before.

Well, i posted the question, cant wait to hear the answers.

One word: prequels.

Devine what you like from it. ^_-

Bah. The only suggestion I've heard is the life story of Chibi-Usa, and that
doesn't sound all that interesting. (Sorry, Phoenix. ;)

Not bloody likely.

I can tell you right now that the *senshi* (you sure you watched that many
episodes of the original?) would probably never leave earth. They're supposed
to be protecting Crystal Tokyo, remember? Messing with time is bad; what'd
happen to C-U?

Not that some of us really care what happens to her..

But I digress; if they were to create a new series, I think it should be all
about Makoto. Why? Because she's definitely got the most personality and
character of all the senshi. The only other obvious one's Usagi, but her
whole personality is summed up in "protecting the innocent" and stuff like
that. She's not a character, she's a symbol.

The only other senshi I could see a series revolving around would be the
outers. All about their troubles in protecting the system from threats of
alien origin.

Of course, my favorite idea would be a series revolving around a common
everyday citizen of Crystal Tokyo. Follow that character through some of the
tougher times during the re-establishment of the Silver Millenium. Maybe even
have a few encounters with one or two of the senshi in regular form, but
without knowing who they really are..

Of course, this leaves things open for a..

...

..wait a minute, why should I tell you? I've got a better idea. Tee hee
hee! Time to write a fanfic! *_*

I wouldn't mind seeing another series, particularly one like you described,
however I doubt it will ever be made. Had you considered writing fanfics?

I don't think that there should be a whole series; one of the reasons
that Sailor Moon ended was that the tv audience was starting to drop
off (Let's be honest, how many times can Usagi whip out the silver
crystal and beat the bad guys). It was ended on a high note, so let's
leave it at that.

Now an OAV series, that might be something to try out

Hrmm, I'm not against a Sailor Stars movie, to finally end the series,
and open into something new. They haven't gone over the reasons behind the
1000 year sleep yet, nor the whole deal with the Black moon invasion.
At least end with a Stars movie, just to make things even. (one movie
per season, sans the 1st). Although I won't be against an oav series of
maybe Serenity back in the Beryl days, or something to that effect.
My only wory, would be that DiC would get the rights to this new movie
or series, and ruin it also. Wel,l have to take the good with the bad I
'spoze.

I would like to actually seewhat happened during the silver mellenium or
how it became the silver mellenium or like Princess serenity's father,
who is he and what happened to him? Was there a Prince of the Moon who
maybe died in battle and could have hada relatioship with one of the
scouts? or how about the very first meeting between Prince Darrien(
sorry can't remember their real names) and Princess Serenity and how he
swept her off her feet! or maybe how the King and Queen of the Moon met?
Basicly a preqeal to Sailor Moon would really be cool!

Hey that's not a bad idea at all. But, since it will most likely not
happen, I would suggest that you read about it in fanfics. Many of the
authors do a great job. There are several good stories centered around the
silver mallinium. Try "Things Hoped For"

Hmm. If you guys are looking for DiC-dubish fanfiction series that thoroughly
butchers the entire series lore, creating a sorta outer shell around the
original, then go take a look at that .. uh .. what's it called ... Sailor
Moon: Alternate Reality. It's by this kid who calls himself Strike Fiss.

But be warned: it breaks practically every rule of fanfiction. He uses the
dub names, includes himself, has certain "overused sailors," totally
misrepresents the.. promiscuity levels ..of some of the original characters,
introduces several new "Silver Millenium court" characters, contains adult
language and adult situations, and is not properly text formatted. Oh, and it
contains bad grammar and spelling.

Other than that, though, it's pretty good. ^_-

I'd call it the "Beavis and Butthead" of SM fanfics, and I don't mean
crossovers.. but that's just my opinion.. ^^;

Sounds like good MSTing material (unless someone else has already done
it, of course). Where might it be?

Jo
..who's looking for a new fanfic to MST after the one she'd spent the
last few days on got done first by someone else...grrr...

It's at a place called Crystal Canada. There are at least half a dozen
different parts to the story, however, and each is well over a dozen
chapters..

Plus, the humour is of the type that's used by normal MSTers, so it wouldn't
contrast as well..

...

..hmm? Oh, right. The link. ^^;;

At least, I think that's it.. maybe.. possibly..! (Been a while since I've
been there; it was the first fanfic I ever read, btw.... I did mention that,
right?)

Bummer... -_-;

So...

..which fanfic was that again? Details!

James
..whose total fanfictian accomplishments total.. one.. half.. sorta..

After visiting, I see what you mean. I don't think I'm going to tackle
something that long.

And it didn't turn you off of fanfic forever? No, I'm kidding, it isn't
really *that* bad.

Oh, it was one of those let's-bring-in-a-new-sailor-scout ones. Can't
remember the name of the story at the moment, the new scout's name was
Sailor Astrode (from the context, probably meant to be "Asteroid").
Probably written by a ten-year-old. You know the type I mean.

Jo
..who has about 300k of finished fanfics, but that includes the ones
that really really suck, which is most of them...I'm my own worst
critic, but no-one's MSTed my stories yet, which I take as a good sign,
unless it just means no-one's noticed them.

The humour that he uses kind of makes it pointless, too. Maybe just MST the
first chpater of it for practice? [shrug]

Well, it did give me a pretty whacked impression of fanfics, if that's what
you mean. But yes, you're right, it isn't all *that* bad. My original point
was that, while he does break every single rule, he still manages to do a
halfway-decent fanfic.

Which shows he's at least a halfway-good author, I suppose.

Just don't look at his fanart.. [wince]

[chuckle] Yeah, I know the type. The type written by the kid who, upon
seeing Sailor Moon on TV and finding out the series is over, decides that it'd
be a great idea for them to continue the series! And people'll love them for
continuing it! And the fan mail'll pour in, and maybe, just maybe, they'll
use one of my ideas and bring the show back, and.. and.. uh..

..heh... got a little carried away. ^_^;;

It's better to be the worst critic than to be the worst author.
