Mitt Romney is an empty suit who licks his finger and sticks it in the
air to see which way the political wind is blowing, just like Barack
Obama. If he says he opposes abortion, it is because that is what his
audience wants to hear, it is not because of any personal conviction.
I try to stay out of the abortion debate, but whether I approve of it or
not, it seems to me that people have a right to support or OPPOSE it.
The real issue here is not abortion, it is freedom of thought. As I see
it, the biggest problem leftists have with the Republican Party is that
its platform is not identical to that of the Democrats. I'm not sure why
they would want that, since leftists would then have a reason to vote
Republican, except that they are insane. Because they are insane, they
find it inconceivable that anyone could hold an opinion on abortion or
anything else that differs from their own, so there is only ONE side to
the abortion debate -- theirs. As the "opposition" candidate, Mitt
Romney's position on abortion, taxes, Medicare, and everything else
should be identical to that of Barack Obama -- because all of these
issues have only one side.

"Leftism is a totalitarian force. Wherever leftism is in a position of
power it tends to invade every private corner and force every thought
into a leftist mold. In part this is because of the quasi-religious
character of leftism: everything contrary to leftist beliefs represents
Sin."
