I don'r think it's a manifestation of any conspiracy against whites. I think the people they use in commercials are there because using them sells the product. The sponsors are interested in making sales with their advertising, not in propagating social change. Besides, if as an added benefit using blacks gets black youth to identify with clean, well-spoken, educated people, that's not a particularly bad thing.

There is a perfect storm of liberal hatred of both the male and white accomplishment. In an attempt to make their ignorant, bigoted beliefs seem real, they create the illusion of success and dominance, especially of the black male. The one group I also see as also being portrayed in a bad light is black females. These illusionary successful black men are almost always shown with white woman. If anyone should be truly outraged it should be the black females who are the real leaders in the black families. It is so tragic and sad.

problems on everything else but the truth – namely, that they took a negro

thought bubble so as to say that either couple could have been the
idiots...

Then it would have had no racial connotations.

Time may be a problem for a commercial but if they want to convey a
message they need to accept the responsibility to be fair.... since

shouldn't be an issue when it comes to being fair.

I've nothing against anyone for reason of their colour. They maybe good, they maybe bad, just as with non-coloured people. What I detest is how, in the UK at the moment, that politically correct BBC is a)recruiting Asians and blacks into a totally unrepresentave proportion of public facing roles. b)Advertisements carry the same distortion. Cough. Slightly biased article, explaining why white movies
are not as good as black movies. It's because ALL actors in black

"blackanese". Which they do, I need subtitles to understand the
