This seemsto be a common thread, it seems that perhaps the major media is
not telling us the complete story.

With the major media folk, it all goes back to Thomas Kuhn. They actually
believe Kuhn's idiocy about reality being flexible and subject to
theories. If they can get enough people to believe in the reality
(paradigm), then the reality will follow the belief. It's weird but true.
