Before tonight, I was a bit concerned. I didn't know what we were
going to talk about if Romney really turned things around and put
America back on track.

BUT!

Now, we know we have four more years to talk about the nutty left and
all that they foul up with their wrong values.

So, this is the bright side of a very negative outcome of the
election. We will have a ton of fun talking about the nutty left.

Pull your head out of the sand. No matter who became president last
night, he would face horrible economic problems that must be solved.
By the time Obama is finished in four years, he will be very disliked
unless he can create a miracle to deal with these issues. Aside from
that, it is rare that the same party lasts more than two elections in
office in recent history.

It's the far-right-wingers and you, Tracey, that need to do that.

Yesterday's election was a *BIG CLUE* to the Republicans to do that!

If you don't, with the changing demographic of the nation, the
Republicans are just going to continue to loose.

You need to start accepting reality, like the real possibility Texas
might turn Blue by 2020.

However, that has always been the problem with fanatics: You never

Funny. Try showing us how Obama will avoid totally bankrupting the
country after you read my article about Obama Has A Headache That
Romney Avoided.

If you think that the Conservatives in the House are going to submit
and go alone with radical left wing ideas now that Obama has won a
second term, you are not thinking clearly.

I don't believe McConnell and Bhner will continue their same tactics.
Their plan was to defeat Obama's second term.
They failed.
They reduced congress' esteem in the public eye to near zero.

I believe they'll go through the motions of opposing Obama. But in the end
they will concede all the material changes Obama asks for.

There will be a dog and pony show....but in the end Obama wins.

If what you say occurs it means that the Republican party will be rendered
into shreds of its former self.
The Tea Party might split off.
Limbo was on today asserting that Romney was not conservative enough.
I take that to mean that he wants smaller "tent".
There are factions in the party that (correctly) say they need a larger
"tent" to win.

Let's watch the fun.
It starts next week when the lame duck congress meets!

PS Romney conceded Florida....That's 332 Electoral votes for Obama!

The Republicans are faced with one very nasty reality; the
demographics of our United State are changing. It is becoming much
more ethical and socially diverse. The breakdown in who voted in the
election shows that.

I read that one Republican commentary said that Iowa would go Red
because the ballot to rescind marriage equaity (it failed) in the
state would being out more Christian evangelicals. Perhaps it did,
but it seemed also to draw even *more* Obama voters out who then voted
to support same-sex marriage.

I think the Big Problem the Republican Party races, if it wants to
survive at all, is its racists members, many who are Tea Party
members. They *are* the ones who the Republicaty Party as a whole
*must* get rid of. They cannot pander to them any more. The anti-
immigration stand the Party and its candidates took as a whole helped
fuck them over in trying to win the Presidental races with the Latino
vote -- and they are rapidly gaining power as one of the largest
voting blocks in the USA.

I even read that due to their increasing number as voters, Texas could
go Blue by 2020. The Republicans need to get rid of their racist
members.

And, of course, one only has to look at alt.politics to see GOP's
problem: look at the far-right Repubican posters here who casually
use words like "nigger", "beaner", and "chink". THESE *are* the
people the Republican Party needs to dump if they want to exist as a
Party that has a chance to win national elections.

During the next 4 years, the Republicans *must* support Immigration
Reform, such as the Dream Act, if they want to have any chance to win
in 2016. For the GOP, this can't a question of idelology, but instead
the acceptance of reality.

> Let's watch the fun.

I think what is going to happen among the Republicans themselves -- if
they can accept the facts, which is often questionable -- is going to
get nasty and might turn into an internal blood bath for them. I
expect, if the Republicans want a real chance to win the 2016
presidentcy we'll start seeing changes happening by 2014. If not...

> It starts next week when the lame duck congress meets!

And the finacal cliff ahead of our nation. A cliff that was *created*
by the Republicans when they refused to compromise with Obama years
ago. Already you can see a clue that Republican leaders realized how
they back themselves into a corner by saying they are willing to
compromise now with Obama and the Democrats.

It's a small step but if the GOP's leaders and officals don't, they
are going to badly hurt our nation even further than their foot-
dragging has already done over the last 4 years.

> PS Romney conceded Florida....That's 332 Electoral votes for Obama!

Boehner has already extended the olive branch of bi-partisanship to
Obama. Boehner says he wants to work with Obama to avoid the fiscal
cliff we're headed for. Any bets on whether the "Won" will accept
Boehners invitation or continue on the same path he's been on for four
years then point the finger at those waskally Republicans that just
want to see the "black" man fail?

I believe the Republican party may have to split into three parties.
1. Tea Party types
2. Evangelicals
3. Old line traditional Republicans.

It makes it hard for them to get a candidate that will have broad appeal.
Think back to the Republican primary time and the quality of those who put
themselves forward as candidates.
I thought Huntsman had the best shot, but they chose Romney...a loser from
