"five to six times" more rapidly than the United States. "In purchasing
power parity, .. they spend about one dollar to our 20 dollars to get to
the same capability." This problem is directly related to .. the business

for some years. It turn-tailed in Vietnam, Iraq, and worst case it
surrendered and ran away from a rag-tag Taliban army after spending more

prior to this week's CPI report, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released
its second quarter labor productivity report. The results were about as bad
as they could possibly be. In short, labor productivity decreased 4.6
percent in the second quarter of 2022. Output decreased 2.1 percent while
hours worked increased 2.6 percent. This marked the sharpest decline in
labor productivity since 1948 ..
What this means is that people are working more and producing less. They
are, in essence, working in reverse. Hence, there will be less goods and
services to consume, which will further drive consumer price inflation.

One of the biggest reasons American politics have turned upside down over
the past few years is growing numbers of Americans do not think leaders
represent their interests. That simple sentiment underlies nearly every
recent problem in American politics .. It's hard to trust elected
representatives if you think they are in it to line their own pockets.
Voters also don't trust politicians who seem to prioritize foreign
interests or special interests over their own well-being. Those are
precisely the sentiments many voters feel today. It has now been over six
years since America's political class was put on clear notice that their
voters are not happy. During those six years, almost zero effort has been
expended to understand why voters are so frustrated ..

The situation when elected leaders betray the expectations of their voters
and fail on electoral promises is more rule than exception for the modern
"western democracies". Besides the mass of ordinary voters, there's always
some more powerful unelected actors and forces affecting government
policies, which may be the Deep State and [trans]national corporate clans
with their interest or - in the case of smaller nations - powerful foreign
forces. And the ordinary voters can't even think for themselves and on
their own, since the mainstream mass media zombify their brains, while the
mainstream media are also owned by those very unelected actors and forces.
