Obviously you can but this group was formed with a bogus newgroup msg.

alt.fan.roadrunner would refer to a bird (beep-beep) and if legit
would be..

alt.comics.roadrunner or alt.comics.road-runner

the reality is alt.online-services.rr.com should be
alt.online-service.rr.com

or ?? something like that
