greatest thing from the Cunning one down in Wincanton.
Take one rock, eight trolls and about thirty two dwarves, make sure
the trolls and dwarves are carefully ignoring each other ready for
ambush and you've got the battle of Koon Vally.
Simple, addicitive and I now need to find the money to give Bernard,
there are times when I think I should just re-route the pay cheque.

You (and the rest of us who were effectively enthralled by this
game from the minute we started to play, but gasped in horror at
the price tag) will be pleased to hear that Terry has given Bernard
approval for a smaller (and cheaper) version that will likely go
into production in the new year.
A thousand thanks to Trevor for tirelessly explaining the game to
all comers, his fascinating discourse on the history of chess, and,
of course, for inventing 'Thud' in the first place.
