- hi; sad news for afper and other friends who met and knew his smile,
friendly ways and quiet, polite refusal (declinings to, really) to get en-
snared in anyone's vitriolic argifications, afper dave in cheadle hulme
in manchester(ish) has died.

- there will be a remembering dave day in cheadle hulme on the six-
teenth of this month: please contact valerie if you wish to attend: if
