Before you start creating your template, look for inspiration. Scroll through the list of professionally designed templates and identify designs that would fit your brand. This step should give you an idea of what types of posts to create.

Creating an Instagram puzzle feed can help your profile stand out and grab the attention of potential followers. This type of feed uses multiple photos that are posted separately to create a large, eye-catching collage that connects shapes, colors, and images in a grid. With Canva, a user-friendly platform filled with templates, creating an Instagram puzzle feed is easier than ever.

To get started, users can add a 3 x 3 grid to their design and then add a dotted line element to define the outline of the puzzle. From there, the design can be sliced up into individual tiles to post into Instagram. Whether you purchase a pre-designed Canva template or create your own, the possibilities for creating a unique and visually appealing Instagram puzzle feed are endless.

The puzzle feed can be created using various tools, but Canva is a popular choice due to its user-friendly interface and pre-made templates. The puzzle feed can be used to showcase a product, a brand, or a message in a visually appealing way.

Overall, an Instagram Puzzle Feed is a great way to showcase your brand or message in a visually appealing and interactive way. With the right tools and strategy, you can create a stunning puzzle feed that engages your audience and helps you stand out on Instagram.

Before creating an Instagram puzzle feed with Canva, users need to create an account. To do so, they can visit the Canva website and sign up using their email address, Google account, or Facebook account. Once they have created an account, they can log in to the platform and start designing.

The first step in designing your Instagram Puzzle Feed is to choose a theme. This can be anything from a color scheme to a specific style or subject matter. It is important to choose a theme that reflects your brand or personality and that you can maintain consistently throughout your feed. Once you have chosen your theme, you can start to plan out your grid.

The grid is the layout of your Instagram Puzzle Feed. It is the arrangement of the individual posts that creates the overall aesthetic of your feed. There are many different grid layouts to choose from, such as a checkerboard pattern or a diagonal layout. It is important to choose a grid that complements your theme and that you can maintain consistently throughout your feed.

Canva provides a helpful guide on how to create an Instagram Puzzle Feed using their platform. To get started, you will need to input the dimensions according to your desired number of posts. As the recommended Instagram post size is 1080x1080px, the width for a puzzle feed will always remain 3240px. It will provide the width for three posts.

The final step in designing your Instagram Puzzle Feed is to design each individual post. Each post should be designed to fit seamlessly into the grid layout and reflect your chosen theme. Canva offers a wide range of templates, graphics, and fonts to choose from to make your posts stand out.

To upload your design manually, you need to make sure that your puzzle feed is split into nine individual posts. Then, you can upload each post to your Instagram account in the correct order. Make sure to add a caption to each post that indicates which part of the puzzle it represents.

If you want to save time and streamline your Instagram posting process, you can use a scheduling tool to plan and schedule your puzzle feed posts in advance. Some popular scheduling tools include Planoly, Plann, Preview, and UNUM.

To schedule your posts, simply upload each post of your puzzle feed to the scheduling tool in the correct order. Then, set the date and time for each post to be published on your Instagram account. Make sure to add a caption to each post that indicates which part of the puzzle it represents.

To keep your puzzle feed fresh, you should update it regularly with new content. This means creating new puzzle pieces that fit seamlessly into your existing feed. You can also experiment with different layouts and color schemes to keep things interesting.

Engaging with your followers is key to maintaining a successful Instagram puzzle feed. This means responding to comments and messages, reposting user-generated content, and running contests and giveaways.

Hi, I am using canva to create landing page templates for some upcoming digital advertising campaigns. I have created the templates and embed them with a live link to my HubSpot account. I am now able to create landing pages with the template I created, but I cannot place additional content on top of the template in HubSpot. The template is basically a bakground with blank spaces for text and forms so I need to be able to place that content on top of the template. HubSpot is only allowing me to place it under the template. Are there settings I need to change or a different way of accessing the template to be able to place additional content on top of the template?

Hi Josh, Thanks for commenting. I have actually created this file in canva as a website and have embedded the live code into HubSpot. So the template isn't technically an image. Does this make a difference? If not, what is the best tool to help me create a template that I can upload to HubSpot?

My recommendation is to create smaller design elements in canva and then using a landing page template, use image modules to place those in the sections (or other modules that allow image files). You would accomplish the same (or better) end result but you wouldn't be designing the whole landing page within the Canva platform.

I have a general course structure and setting that should be followed for many courses. I have tried creating a template course that has the proper course settings and the structure for one unit (module), and enrolled designers in it. My intent was to have them copy wholesale from the course to start with, then just make additional copies of the template's module to set up however many units they need. This doesn't work. Instead, each subsequent import of the single unit just stomps over the previous one.

We had the same issue too. What I did was to create an entire course template that could be copied over. This has helped our faculty a lot. You can access it here and are welcome to use/copy/modify it: -steps-course-building/.

The only work around that I have found is to build a template based on the number of modules or weeks that are generally used at your school. Then you can copy the whole course template into the actual course site which allows the faculty to only edit the template with their particulars. This has helped our faculty to be more successful and it eliminates them from missing out on important settings for our school.

We have struggled with the same thing and have taken the same approach as hrutherford and cadatko, where we have built 5 different templates for faculty to choose from. The templates are structured from a very simple template for a residential/f2f course to a more complex tabbed template for a fully online course. You can see examples of, and download common cartridge files of the templates at: Canvas: Importing a Template: iSchool Technology Training. Please note that the templates may not work on your Canvas instance as we have added some custom css and javascript to our sub account header files. Additionally, we have taken a slightly different approach to design and don't put a great deal of content in the modules area. Each template is a full Canvas course so in the f2f previews click on the "Course Schedule" button to see the layout of the course and in the online previews click on a module to see the layout of that module. Please let me know if you have any questions.

If you choose to purchase a pre-made Canva template for this the creator should have already designed it so it will slice up in the right places. Just update the template in Canva by the changing colors, font, dropping in your own photos and updating all filler text to have your own message or quotes written on the entire image.

Yes! Keep in mind carousel posts are still considered individual posts and will individually be counted towards the final number of the templates. If you're wanting a carousel of two, three, four slides, they will count as individual posts.

With the strategy of doing photo, graphic, photo, I now have a plan for what my feed should look and feel like to match my Instagram graphics, as well as my brand, including all of the fonts and things that I want to include in my brand. It really helps to start with your mood board and then go from there.

On this Instagram feed, you can even update what your bio might look like, and your brand name, and include your headshot, and different colors for your highlight covers. If you want to create unique highlight covers, and download those, Canva has wonderful highlight covers.
