A friend of mine said she saw a set of bookends, one of Rincewind and
one of DEATH in some arty crafty shop in the highlands. Who makes these,
do they have licenses for anything else, and do they mail order?
Jer.
As well as the Rincewind/Death bookends they do figures of
The Luggage, Magrat, Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, Twoflower and the
Librarian, as well as a variety of non-TP but similar stuff including
'things'(!) in cauldrons. My personal favourite is a model of a tiny
Thumbelina/nymph figure taking a bath in a life-sized half walnut
shell. This particular model is done in exquisite detail, right down
to a miniscule bar of soap perched on the edge of the nutshell.
I'll pop into the shop next time I'm in town and see if I can get a
contact address and/or price list out of them.

These were probably part of the set of the porcelain figures
of Diskword characters that can be found in some shops.
As well as the above characters, there are also figures of
The Luggage, Twoflower, Granny Weatherwax, A'Tuin the
elephants and the Diskworld itself, the young witch
(esmerelda ?), Cohen the Barbarian, and the newest recruit
to the city guards.
They seem to be made by some specialist pottery company,
are somewhat difficult to find, and are very expensive.
I'll see if I can find out any more details.
Bob.
They do a wonderful bookend of the Librarian. There's also a model of
the Disk itself.
They seem to be based on the Kirby drawings, which is a shame. I don't
think they capture it right. However, the Librarian seems to be spot on
in the bookend... has the Librarian been on a cover? I can't honestly
recall...

WH Smiths (Argyle St) in Glasgow were selling them around Christmas.
I don`t remember the price, but since I don't own any, it must have been
expensive...
