Yes, you can use the free version of Smallpdf, but there are many limitations to follow in this version. For example, you can process only two documents per day. You can use the strong compression option in the Smallpdf free version. If you want to process more documents, you have to upgrade to its premium features. The premium version is very expensive. Why not switch to a more stable desktop tool like UPDF, which provides unlimited features, a stable environment, and it also has a really cost-effective price.

I believe there are some data privacy issues I am not sure how safe we use this for our important documents... it has some file size limitations, the larger files cannot do modifications or conversions.

Comments:There are both free and paid options available through Smallpdf, depending on the tool and the size of the file. The free version has some limitations, including maximum file size and a daily file limit. Smallpdf's paid plans provide additional features, higher limits, and the ability to work with larger files.Overall, Smallpdf is a useful tool for anyone who works with PDF files and needs a quick and easy way to perform common tasks.

smallpdf is very limited in free mode, although it should be pointed out that the free version is still very useful. it gives you the number of files you can process in a day and even the size you want. apart from that, smallpdf requires more internet, so offline use is difficult, and last but not least, there's the problem of data confidentiality for some users.

Comments:As a software engineer, I have to work with many documents every day. Therefore it's great to have a software with which I can easily edit documents as needed. It has all the tools that I require daily. Using it is easy and instinctive. I also like its widget. Also helps in managing all the documents in one place.

FormSwift's text tools are limited. You have four fonts to choose from, but you can resize those fonts to almost any level you want, and you can also make changes to text colors and styles. You can add a new text field to your document, enter new text and adjust the text, placing it anywhere you want on the document.

Basic as it may be, Smallpdf can add pages to or compress existing PDF documents. Additionally, there are tools for adding signatures to documents that are similar to those available with Apple's Preview application on a Mac. All of this is available with no file-size limitations, but Smallpdf lets you process only two documents per day. If you want to do more, you'll have to upgrade to the Pro plan, which gives you Smallpdf desktop applications as well as unlimited processing.

As this is free software, you should pay attention to any limitations that are imposed on the free tier. Are there restrictions on the size of the documents you can edit or are certain tools locked behind a paywall. If you need access to these tools, then it may be worth paying for those particular features.

I like least about Smallpdf is the limited features compared to other PDF software. It does not offer the same level of customization or the ability to edit documents as some of the more expensive programs.

If you are using free plan, there is so much limitation. But if you want to buy a plan, it will cost a bit high amount as per my point of view. Because using this tool is not a daily task for normal people. So they should decrease the price.

I don't like the app having a daily limit for conversion. I know that the intention is to get people to purchase the paid option, but people are not always able to do so or use it for work routines and bosses do not buy the paid version, as is the case with me.

Over the years they have made smallpdf more easier to use. With the recent update to the website, the look and feel of the website is great. Everything is well categorized and the best thing is the drag and drop feature. I mostly use the PDF conversion tools and the PDF compression tools.

Any document related issue, smallPDF is my go to website

If you use the free plan, there are limits to how many files you can process per day. If your needs are limited, however, the free plan will easily meet your needs. If you do a lot of work with PDFs, however, the Pro plan will make more sense -- it's pretty inexpensive, you'll have full access to a wider set of tools, and there aren't any limits on how many documents you can process.

The free version of this platform offers access to 21 tools. It also imposes a daily document download limit. The free plan lacks support and extensive access to some major tools (like OCR converting).
