(or IRC) you should really let people know that it is all in jest. It

Alright man...That last sentence is a very good point. I was just
thinking of the new folks. We remember when we first happened upon an
'alt.fan' group after searching the 'celebrity' groups of our favorite
celeb to no avail. I just happen to think multimedia elements to a
celebrity fan group - who's subject lives in a multimedia (pictures)
world - would be appreciated. I've only flooded the group when talk
started turning off subject or when the group became completely dead.
I don't post pics for my benefit, I just want to keep the group alive.

Well I'm I Windows Software Engineer and I've only mailbombed ONE
person...And that person was me. I worked for Netcom and I wrote a
tool to annonymously bomb a mailbox and then another to clean up the
results. Alot of Netcom and AOL folks aren't exacly loved on the
USENET and a tool like this was necessary while I was there. Believe
me! But you're right, the threat was only that...A threat.
