Did Anthony's girlfriend really blow a guy named Spaz on-air to save a
lobster?

Is it true that anyone who brings up the name lobster girl will be
banned from any O&A controlled medium?

So, I'm going to take that as a yes, Anthony's girlfriend did blow some
dude named Spaz, on-air to save the life of a lobster. That was nice of
her.

So, any of you turdlings that keep bitching about Stern's "gag order" on
O&A care to bring up Lobster Girl to the boys and see what happens?

Thought not.

Isn't if funny how it always comes back to Stern? It's like
communicating with a 2 year old. But i guess as pests, that's their job.
Intelligence is obviously not a prerequisite to be a pest.

Maybe that's how A finds his women? I could see the creative meeting...
"Okay, I want a chick who's not too bright and gives good head... What
kind of a bit can we come up with to bring this kind of woman out of the
woodwork?"

Then the after effect... "Hey Spaz, does she give good head? Yes? Cool,
you're fired, and if anyone brings up Lobster girl, they're banned for
all eternity..."

For the record, the best I can come up with is that this might have
happened. At best, a female went into the closet with Spaz. What
really happened in there? I don't know for sure. I won't guess. I will
say this. A lot of people have a past. BTW, when did this supposedly
take place?

She sounds nice :)

I'm not sure when exactly it happened, but I'm sure there are some pests
out there that could tell you. Or not... Apparently, no one is allowed
to talk about it because "it is not allowed on the show or certain fan
sites". Ask one of your buddies about Lobster Girl.

I think I remember Antony saying something like, "That's right. I
believe in censoring anyone who is my enemy. I believe in censorship
when it benefits me." Oh no, sorry. That wasn't Anthony. Or Opie for
that matter.

I'm just trying to figure out if this incident was before or after a
tranny from PETA took his top off and had stern ogle him to save a
lobster.

Yes, it comes back to stern leading from the back. O&A are imitating
stern by doing things before stern does them. An animal lover doing
what it takes to save an animal. I wonder how howard felt when he
learned he had dirty thoughts about a dude.

PeTA employee Kayla Rae Worden started life as Kevin Worden. During a
2002 appearance on the Howard Stern Show, Kayla/Kevin stripped when he
threatened to kill insects and fish if the three PeTA-phile guests

Howard complimented Kayla/Kevin on her commitment to the cause and her

From what I could gather, the spaz incident happened in 2000 and the
PETA dude incident happened in 2002. So by stern logic, yes, o&a
copied a stern bit before stern did it. We can add that to the list
that includes the Pat O'Brian uncensored tapes.

Yes. If some chick came into my work and blew one of my co-workers to
prevent him from having a lobster dinner, that would be a deal breaker.
Yessir. If she's done that, she's done worse.

To be fair, he wasn't dating her when she blew the guy, he waited til
after. Dizzzam.

"Kevin aka Spaz ã Known for recieving fellatio by Anthony's current
girlfriend Melinda on air, in an attempt to save a lobster from being
boiled. Hence the legend of "lobster girl".

"Lobster Girl - Listener named Melinda who came to the studio and
offered to perform oral sex on Spaz to save a lobster from being boiled.
She blew Spaz in a production studio on the air. Later posed nude in the
studio for pictures that were placed on the internet. Eventually started
dating Anthony, and is now his present girlfriend. Mentioning her by
name or that she performed fellatio on Spaz is not allowed on the show
or certain fan sites."

Kinda gnarly, huh?

Twisting the subject away from the point doesn't fool anyone. Get back
to us when someone gets on air and asks about Spaz and Lobster Girl
without being dumped or you can admit that they would dump the call and
end this thread.

Not to mention, if you didn't buy your XM with O&A in mind, they'll very
easily get lost in the other 200+ stations... Why don't they have the
O&A channel?

So they were put on the premium becuase they were failures.
Then they were taken off the premium becuase they were failures.

And to O&A's credit, as fucked up as XM treats them, they are good
enough for XM to not just let them dry up and blow away on a Premium
station virtually no one would pay for, hence bringing them into the
fold.

It's not they failed, you guys just didn't buy into it. Good for you.
You already pay for the service, why pay extra on top of that. I love
the Soprano's, but it HBO started charging an extra fee every month just
for their show, no matter how nominal the fee, I'd tell them to go eat a

Nobody here in Chicago knows who Opie or his sidekick are.

You mean they don't have their own channel? I thought they're supposed to
be a big deal. I didn't know XM had a "Who Gives a Shit" channel.

Just curious. What IS the name of the channel Opie is on? And please
don't say "WHIV" I'm serious, I want to know.

And who the fuck are Ron and Fez? Do all lame radio guys have to come
in pairs? Rick and Nick, Ron and Mike, Pinky and the fucking Brain.
Serious question, what's that all about?

By the way, this guy CBS put on in Chicago, "Rover"? He's so bad it's
hard to believe. I'm pretty sure DoubleA's show was better than Rover.

All the people that call in to the show have to say "Yo, Rover" and
"Chicago loves you" or "Cleveland loves you" or they don't get on the
air. It's the lamest fucking thing you've ever heard, these little
catch phrases they're trying to foist off on listeners. And the show
is so sloppy that you hear listeners who won't follow the script get
dumped. They must figure that anyone who's not playing along is going
to bust on Rover and how weak he is.

Whoa, whoa. Are you telling me that their station is called "high
voltage"? Who thought that one up? Lobster Girl?

Look at me! I never even heard these fags and I already know all the
cool inside lingo. Can I be like, a lieutenant now? I understand
recruitment isn't going so well.

If you were XM, would you spend money on publicity for somebody that
sucks so bad? They're just in a holding pattern until something better
comes along.

It sounds more like they're off premium because they just weren't premium
content. If people were signing up to pay the extra buck, do you think
they'd change the plan?

Why is that hard for you to understand, Hoody? They failed on premium so
they were taken off because nobody would pony up the extra dough (that's
gangster talk for money). Again, if people were willing to pay extra money
to hear Opie, do you for one second think they would have taken them off
premium?

On satellite, you can leave somebody on even if they only have a few
listeners, unless they're the franchise the way Stern is. They took
them off premium because nobody would pay extra for them, and they
extended their contract because they don't cost that much and they've
got channels to fill.

If they were more popular, their fans would be on the Opie fan site
instead of here. Since there's nothing happening at opie.com, they have
to come over here because Stern is the pinnacle of radio. Notice that
the opie army doesn't march around Mancow's building, or do they?

That was not an answer. Why isn't Sirius advertising Howie ? do they

Sirius doesn't need to advertise Stern. Not when he's showing up on
Letterman, Hannity, and just about every news show in the country. I
must have missed the night Opie was on Letterman.

And it sounds like Sirius is growing pretty well without spending the
money on adverts. Better they put the money on the air. I hear they
have Nascar now. Didn't they used to be on XM? But don't worry, XM has
Oprah. Oprah! Man, what am I gonna do if I can't hear OPRAH on the
radio? Hey all you Opie fans, are you excited about Oprah coming to XM?
