Confirmed by Anthony:
"True, Ben is no longer with the show.
False, Ben was fired for the Howard fan incident.
Us being on in best of for Monday had nothing to do with anything show

These are the facts. Anything else is pure speculation.
This is all I'm saying to clear things up so don't ask me anything

Relax, its not Howwid who said it, so it just might be true. Ben may actually
have left the show for a reason NOT Stern related. I know this shocks you,
but things have been known to happen in the universe outside of Howard's
sphere of self-importance.

The Stern fan attacked him, you dumb fuck.
Does this mean no more calls from "Ben from Boston?"

No. Can you read???
The fan said Ben attacked him first. This confirms it

So what was all of the brouhaha with the brass after the incident? Why did
the fan claim Ben took the first swing and why did Ben (and all references
to him) disappear right after the incident? Is this not the very way the
boys have pointed out station's handle troubling incidents? If Ben's

I don't blame Ant for minimizing it because of all the legal issues but,

Because the sad thing is that "the boys" are not very truthful about
what really goes on with their show. When you put yourself out there in
the past with statements like "we are so glad to be on satellite radio
and to have the freedom to say anything we like. We would never go back
to regular radio and the censorship." Then they go back to regular
radio because the money was right and they never address their past
statements. That in of itself is dishonest. AND to top it all off, the
CBS show is nowhere near as funny as the old XM show was. That's a
natural fact.
Bullshit - the show is better than ever, drone.

As you have been told MANY times, (I'll type slowly so you can follow
along this time, hopefully), the XM feed is NEVER censored, and we get
more show than before. I'm sure you would consider it an improvement
to get more of your show, say if Hoohoo only took off 8 weeks, instead
of 12, or if he worked on Fridays.
You are being disingenuous. You can't with a straight face try and claim
that O&A do not adjust their style for the hours in which there is a
terrestrial feed, in order to be FCC Compliant. I don't listen to the show,
so you will have to answer this, but have there been times when O&A have put
aside an item for alter in the day because they couldn't talk about it the
way they wanted to because of the terrestrial feed? Would you not say that
affects the quality of the show, not being able to talk about certain items
at any time?
The XM is censored by virtue of the fact that there are certain things
they can't do or talk about while broadcasting on FM, they have to
censor themselves for their entire drivetime audience even if a few
dumps get heard on XM they screwed up their show for the extra cash. Not
to mention the extra commercials and breaks. You keep spinning and lying
for them though, they will need your support if they ever want to beat Imus.

Right.

They're using it very cleverly.
You know, Stern *not* being censored hasn't helped him very much. Other
than all the hardcore gay shit. Not my cup of tea, but if it's yours then
more power to you.

The show's been great. Being on FM gets them better guests and more
publicity. Those things add to the show.

So as long as his 8 shows a month are quality shows then you are
satisfied?
I listen to 45-60 minutes of live show a day. Depending on when I
leave determines what part of the show I listen to live. I download
the show to my ipod while at work so I end up listening to the entire
show. Before their revolutionary satellite/terrestrial deal, O&A would
do a show that was 80-90% FCC friendly. Not 100% compliant but close
to it. So no, I don't think it affects the quality of the show. It may
even add to the show. It's like a game to try to explain some thing
while they are being broadcast on terrestrial. I find that
entertaining. There are item that can wait until they are not being
broadcast on terrestrial but some of them would be boring only on
satellite. For example, a guy who had a penis implant to help him get
hard. He was suing the manufacturer of the device because the device
was defective for 10 years. On only satellite, they would have
mentioned the article, made a few jokes, and moved on. But since it
was mentioned by a caller on terrestrial radio, they talked about it.
To hear O&A dancing around the wording was entertaining.
Do you understand that their show is not too much different than it
was before?
We already know how you have scheduled your work day around O&A, arranging
your commute around the beginning of their show, etc. etc. etc. (as you have
admitted). So we are already aware that you won't even acknowledge the
obvious when it comes to O&A and their self-censorship.
It may

When I worked 2 hours away, my commute coincided with the old XM show.
Now I work in the next city over and my commute is only 45-60 minutes
depending on traffic. But listening to the entire show is not related

Glad you agree.
Yes, it is. The walkover and the dump list alone make it better
You are an INSANE liar! The old XM show was raunchy as hell. They
cursed at least once a minute, constant over the top sex talk in the
most graphic terms... how is ANY of that FCC compliant. If you're gonna
spin at least try to spin in a remotely believable way.
It's way different, douche bag. It was actually very funny at times
uncensored. Now it just plain sucks... the funny was drained out of it.
You lie. Plain and simple. You are saying that the show is now better,
because of the self-censorship involved. That means that the XM show, before
the move to terrestrial, was sub-standard as such censoring was not
indulged, and topics were short-shrifted.

Fuck, shit, cunt, pussy, cock, nigger, bitch. Was that the most
entertaining thing you have ever read? If so, then you are correct. It
is the words that make the show entertaining or not. If you think it
is the content, then listen up. Again. 80-90% of their shows on XM
were FCC friendly. Not 100% compliant, but pretty close. If you think
that having to have the freedom to say what you want when you want is
the sign of success, then you are right. And howard failed for 20+
years before he got to sirius. There is *NOTHING* that O&A cannot talk
about on a daily basis that stern, for example, can. The decision to
broadcast on both formats has taken nothing from the show. They
broadcast longer, get better guests, and still have the freedom to
discuss whatever they want on a daily basis.
You are one of the people that must head dirty words to find something
entertaining. I am not. I have no problem with fucks and shits and
cunts but I do not have to hear those words to be entertained.
Fuck, shit, pussy, cock, cunt. There, an uncensored reply. You should
be entertained now.
That is just an out and out lie, as regards FCC friendliness. Even some O&A
fans have complained on this board that the show is different now. Be that
as it may, you have now admitted that O&A put on sub-standard shows for
their XM audience, as they are (in your words) much more interesting now
that you get to play a game to try and figure out what their subject of
discussion might be.
You are so busy trying to cover every avenue, to somehow show O&A to be more
than they are, that you leave yourself wide open for these neat little
insights. It's actually very humorous to watch you scramble to recover form
each and every mis-step.
Not 100% compliant, but pretty close. If you think
> that having to have the freedom to say what you want when you want is

Actually, i didn't say that. I was just pointing out that you are saying the
show is better now, as you like playing the game where you are trying to
figure out what it is they are actually talking about. Most people don't
agree with that, but maybe that is personal preference. If the show ius
better now, as you claim, there really was nothing stoping them from doing
the same before the move to terrestrial, righ? But they didn't, which shows
that either it was a lackluster show then, or you are just trying to cover
their asses now. I go with the "cover asses" theory, because there is just
nothing you seem to like better than some good ole O&A ass.
And howard failed for 20+
> years before he got to sirius. There is *NOTHING* that O&A cannot talk

Very true. yet now they are prohobitied from discussing many items in-depth,
as you have admitted, due to FCC regulations. And, as you have also said,
this makes the show better because you enjoy trying to guess what they are
talking about. They should have been doing this for their entire XM run, if
it is so much better. Just goes to show they were putting on a sub-standard
show, in your opinion.
The decision to
> broadcast on both formats has taken nothing from the show.
You have admitted otherwise. They have lost the ability to speak freely on
many subjects. However, you enjoy this as it is a "game" to you, that you
enjoy plaing to figure out what it is they are actually speaking of.
They
> broadcast longer, get better guests, and still have the freedom to
> discuss whatever they want on a daily basis.
No. They do not, as you have admitted. The freedom is not there, otherwise
you wouldn't get to play your new favorite game of "guess the subject". You
can't have it both ways. Either something has been taken away, by the
censorship, or improved by it (as you tried to claim.), meaning that O&A
weren't doing as good a show, when they could talk freely about all issues
at any time.
I only listen to O&A on XM. I do not nor did I ever say they do a
sub-standard show for the XM listeners. As a matter of fact, it is
better for the XM listeners than it is for the terrestrial listeners
as the XM listeners get to hear what gets dumped on terrestrial.

Name a subject that O&A cannot talk about. And feel free to show
everyone where I said "guess the subject" was part of the show. You
are creating concepts, attributing them to me, then using them to
prove your point. I's not working.
Would you not say that getting a dump affects the quality of the show? Would
you not say that working to avoid a dump affects the qualoity of the show?
If so, you are the only one because there have been several O&A fans on this
board who disagree with you.

If it is better now that they have to avoid censors and dumps, why did they
not do so even befor ethe move back to terrestrial? They certainly had the
ability. According to your logic that means they refused to do somthing for
the show that would, in your opinion, have made it better when it was easily
within their power which means they neglected to put on the best show
possible: substandard.

No. I am taking points you have made, that the show is better now that they
are being dumped and censored, and pointing out the foolishness of that
position.
It does affect the quality. It makes it more entertaining.
>Would you not say that working to avoid a dump affects

It does affect the quality. It makes it more entertaining.
It's called pushing the envelope. That is entertaining. If I could
only listen to the show on terrestrial, I might feel different. But I
listen to the show on XM so I can only speak about the show from that
aspect.
>If so, you are the only one because there have been several O&A fans on this

Not all of O&A fans feel that their move makes the show better. Not
all stern fans feel his move to sirius has improved his show.
Wow...your failing attempt at spin is incredible. Let's imagine you
have two kids who are in school. They are twins so they are in the
same grade and take the same classes. One kid brings you his report
card with all B's. Are you proud of him? What if the other kids gets
all A's? You are stuck in this mindset that if "A" is better than "B",
then "B" is substandard.
Which is better? The stern show now or the stern show on CBS radio?

Show me where I said anything about guessing what O&A are talking
about.
Name a subject that O&A are not allowed to talk about.
I now have the means to generate all the clean power the world ever needs.
All I need to do is wrap you in copper wire, sit you on top of a magnet, and
when you go into your little spin routine it will generate electricity. You
have admitted that O&A are censored, been dumped, etc., and they are not
able to be as in-depth as they once were on certain subjects. You even
claimed that this was good for you, as you liked the show better this way as
you found enjoyment in their having them dodge the censors, to see how they
did it. Anything to justify the fact that they have had to water the show
down for the terrestrial audience.
So you agree with me
It is different enough for me to notice.
What show did you listen to? If it really was "constant over the top sex
talk in the most graphic terms", I'd have been long gone. That's not
sustainably funny.

censored when it gets dumped. I never said they cannot be as in-depth

Once again, for the third time, name a subject that O&A are not
allowed to talk about.

Sorry. Let me make it more entertaining for you and all the stern

satellite/terrestrial deal, O&A would do a show that was 80-90% FCC
friendly. Fuck, shit, cunt, cock, pussy. Not 100% compliant but close
to it. So no, I don't think it affects the quality of the show. Fuck,
shit, cunt, cock, pussy. It may even add to the show. Fuck, shit,
cunt, cock, pussy. It's like a game to try to explain some thing while
they are being broadcast on terrestrial. Fuck, shit, cunt, cock,
pussy. I find that entertaining. Fuck, shit, cunt, cock, pussy. There
are item that can wait until they are not being broadcast on
terrestrial but some of them would be boring only on satellite. Fuck,
shit, cunt, cock, pussy. For example, a guy who had a penis implant to
help him get hard. He was suing the manufacturer of the device because
the device was defective for 10 years. Fuck, shit, cunt, cock, pussy.
On only satellite, they would have mentioned the article, made a few
jokes, and moved on. Fuck, shit, cunt, cock, pussy. But since it was
mentioned by a caller on terrestrial radio, they talked about it.
Fuck, shit, cunt, cock, pussy. To hear O&A dancing around the wording
was entertaining.
That is true. it is ME saying they cnnot be as in-depth as they once were,
and you have agreed just by the fact that you acknowledge the censorship.
Although it is true that they may revisit a subject later in the day, when
they don't have to worry about FCC regs, there is a large chunk of show
where they are restrained from being 100% forthright with the listeners.
By the way, i see nothing wrong with that on their end, as they would have
been fucking crazy to pass up the opportunity that has been handed them. But
to try and claim that the show is unaffected by censorship is just a lie.
>
> Once again, for the third time, name a subject that O&A are not
> allowed to talk about.
You have admitted yourself that they have done a great deal of censorship,
not being able to plumb the depths of certain subjects.
Don't try to be so disingenuous. You aren't very good at it.
See. Now you have completely contradicted yourself. Your first rendition of
that paragraph, without the cussing, was boring. This second rendition was
hilarious, as it was a smart usage of curse words. Through censorship, O&A
have lost some of that ability for several hours in the day. Through your
own actions you have proven how censorship can have a negative impact on
broadcasters, including O&A.

They talked about that yesterday.
There has always been a large chunk of show that was appropriate for
terrestrial radio. Just because they broadcast that chunk on
terrestrial radio does not make them less than 100% forthright with
the listeners.

You claim that they are censored. Now name a subject they are not
allowed to talk about.
If you honestly feel that adding dirty words automatically makes a
conversation entertaining without considering the content of the
conversation itself, then you have truly bought into the stern
mentality.

Felching refers to the act of sucking semen out of an anus (male or
female) after anal sex.
Suppose you tell me just how much O&A can discuss that topic without
running afoul of F.C.C. guidelines?

Specifically about what? Man, you're a pedantic douche. I claimed not to
agree with you "that the XM show suffers". In response, you quoted part

I interpret that as your attributing that quote to me. Were you? If

I reposted what you were pretending to respond to, my post that you

I was joking you humorless lackwit, I was making fun of the fact that
you responded to something other than what I said because you didn't
have a response to what I actually said. I repeated it for you and your

It still gets talked about, and I am more than happy with the quality
of the show. And the fact is, O+A can do entertaining radio within
FCC guidelines, and hoohoo was unable to do so. During the ten years
of sub-par radio that stern himself admitted he did, O+A were building
a name for themselves and rising fast before the Sex for Sam incident,
which was, for the record, not outside of FCC guidelines at the time.
The show has ony gotten better lately, and they are succeeding
accordingly. And they still have more listeners than stern, and the
gap is growing and growing.

When it comes to shock jock radio ratings, Howard Stern is still number
one, but with an anchor.
Recent Arbitron ratings show Stern’s nationally syndicated morning program
remains popular, but it is rapidly losing audience in key media markets,
such as New York City and Washington, D.C.
As reported by The Washington Post, Stern’s audience share in Washington,
D.C., where he is broadcast on WJFK-FM, fell by nearly one-third among the
lucrative 25- to 54-year-old demographic during the July-September ratings
period.
Stern has been "bleeding audience” in New York City during the same time
period, where he lost 15 percent of his listeners.

His ratings and audience declined steadily over those last three years.

Non sequitur. It was not an FCC violation.

*You're* making a cult reference, with your infantile worship and
acceptance of anything Stern does? That's rich.

And it did not get them fired. Infinity continued to pay them for two years
