I don't know if anyone is interested in this info, but on Monday's show,
Howard Stern mentioned (among other things) that his seven-year-old
daughter watches the Mary-Kate and Ashley videos.

FYI, Howard Stern has a listening audience of 17 million.

Hmm really? Interesting. Did Howard mention anything about the twins? Wha he
thought about them? How did that come about on the show anyway?

Boy - talk about your "light" vs. "darkness". I hope his daughter
gets her values from the Olsens and not her depraved father - who
should not be on the air anywhere for any reason.

---I think He (Howard Stern) might be more bark than bite. He probably is
an OK father to His kids. He is getting divorced from his wife and He
wimped out on going out with all those "women" He talks to.

BTW: He talks about His show being #1 everywhere its played, this is not
true. Here in town, a local team of DJs (with a PG-rated show) beat him at
#1 against His X-rated show.

Anybody that made comments on the sexual characteristics of Columbine
high school girls the day of the shootings is not fit to be on the
air.

As for being a parent, I wonder how he will react when his daughter
gets older and boys start making sexual comments about her.

In Ft. Meyers, FL, WAYF, a Christian rock station, is rated higher
than he is. In Dallas, KLTY - Christian AC station is also rated
higher than he is.

I have it on tape and I'll have to listen to it again. I'll post
the answers to your questions when I can.

Well, supposedly it's all just an act. Various people who know Howard
in person, say that he's a nice guy and devoted to his three daughters.

Howard is concerned about his daughters and how they would feel about
him dating all those women he talks to.

As it is, the tabloids have all ready made up stories about him dating
certain women and Howard wasn't very happy about that.

This was discussed and debated at great length back all ready.
Basically, those who were criticising Howard hadn't even heard the
show. Many were hearing Howard's comments taken out of context and
played over and over by some competing DJ's at another station.

I did hear the show, and basically a caller to the show made a comment
to Howard that some of the Columbine girls were really good-looking.
Howard then started to speculate as to the motive of the killers. He
thought that there wasn't any apparent motive. He then wondered why the
killers didn't try to have sex with any of the girls.

That one comment was then taken and used against him. Then the Colorado
legislature banned him from radio in that state. In the meantime, they
didn't do anything about the law that allows adults to buy or give guns
to minors in that state. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Howard was a convenient scapegoat.

HOWARD STERN
Date: 2-11-00
Topic: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

Howard and his female sidekick, Robin Quivers, were discussing the death
of Charles Shultz, creator of the comic strip “Peanuts.” Then Howard
jumped to talking about Steven Spielberg and then he jumped to talking
about Mary-Kate and Ashley.

HOWARD: God bless Steven Spielberg’s “Animaniacs.” I pray for the
health of Steven Spielberg because I put that movie in and calm my
seven-year-old right down. God bless television and Steven Spielberg...
And God bless Kate and Mary Olsen!... The Olsen Twins... Mary-Kate, or
whatever...

ROBIN: Oh, you like them too for your kids?

HOWARD: Oh God!... Two-and-a-half hour videos they put out and it keeps
kids nice and quiet.

ROBIN: I didn’t know what they were doing, those two.

HOWARD: God bless... Those are drugs for a child!

ROBIN: That’s supposed to be very bad for your child, have the TV be
the babysitter... But!...

HOWARD: But!... (chuckles)...What are you going to do? It’s heroin!
(Jackie Martling laughs in background)

[Robin then mentions to Howard a “Parents” segment she sees every
morning on a television news program. They tell you what parents should
be doing. Robin comments: “My God, this parenting is tough!”... “The
segments only three minutes long... By the time the woman’s finished I’m
tired!”... “Just listening to what a parent has to do!”]

HOWARD: I got to tell you though, those two little Mary-Kate and Ashley
Olsen, or whatever their names are... They’re growing up pretty...
pretty foxy.

ROBIN: They’re going to be pretty, huh?

HOWARD: They’re going to be REAL PRETTY! (Robin laughs). They’re like
teenagers now. And they’re like on these sexy dance videos. I mean
they are infants that are way sexualized.

ROBIN: Really?!

HOWARD: Yeah.

ROBIN: I haven’t seen them since they left TV... proper...

HOWARD: Please! I was watching it! I’m like, “Hey, this is wrong!...
I’m getting out of the room!”

ROBIN: (laughing)... But you kept watching...

HOWARD: No, I gotta leave (unintelligible).

JACKIE MARTLING: How old are they Howard?

HOWARD: They got to be about...

ROBIN: Thirteen, fourteen...

HOWARD: Thirteen, fourteen maybe? But you know, they got like really
hot little bodies and their faces are real nice.

ROBIN: Oh dear...

HOWARD: And you know, they were little girls on that full house.

ROBIN: They were babies!

HOWARD: Yeah... But they’re looking good and they’re RICH! What a
catch! They gotta be rich... What they do now...

ROBIN: That mom knew what to do, because she just started putting out
videos once that TV show disappeared.

HOWARD: Yeah they put out movies on video. They don’t try to get them
on TV.

ROBIN: Don’t even worry about, you know, theaters or anything like
that.

HOWARD: Yeah, and kids love it. Un-real.

Hmmmmmm... I'm still not seeing the humor there, but maybe that's just
me. ;-) Actually, I'm now even more convinced that Stern shouldn't be
allowed within 1000 miles of MK&A (puhleeease tell me that guy
lives/works in New York, *NOT* LA!)

Cheers,

I just find it funny that of all people, Howard is talking about the twins. Its
just that fact that makes me laugh. Not so much as what Howard said about them.

FYI, I heard Howard Stern mention MKA on the show once before. I don't
remember exactly when and I don't have it on tape. It might have
been last year. All I remember is that he made some comment about how
good-looking they were becoming.
