Late last week during the Republican convention, we learned that
"American Pie" star Jason Biggs isn't anything like his onscreen
persona. That sweet, good-hearted character is in reality played by a
vicious, unfunny pig who obviously has some issues with women.

Free speech is a lovely concept worth defending and no one's telling
Biggs to shut up (I rather like how free speech allows the wicked
among us to reveal their true selves). But "free" doesn't mean
"consequence free," and not only has the blowback against Biggs been
such that the coward deleted the offending tweets about Paul Ryan's
wife, but now Biggs' current employer, children's network Nickelodeon,
has a very serious p.r. problem on its hands.

Nickelodeon not only hired Biggs to voice a cartoon version of
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," but as our friends at Twitchy have
documented, the children's network promotes his vile Twitter account.

Yes, that's right, Nickelodeon directs your children to a Twitter
account filled with sexist talk of bleached assholes, incest (complete
with photos), "cock," photos of dildos, and Chick-fil-A trashing.

To me the story here isn’t yet one more actor revealing himself as an
intolerant, woman-hating, sexual degenerate -- it's that parents
cannot trust Nickelodeon to protect their children from pornographic
talk, hate, and religious bigotry. In fact, Nickelodeon encourages
your children to click their way into this world.

If you're at all interested in protecting your children's innocence,
Nickelodeon has proven itself a shatterer of that innocence.

Stay away, parents… and keep your children even further away.

Nickelodeon, the kids’ TV channel, apparently sees no problem with
directing children to the Twitter feed of one of its voiceover stars,
Jason Biggs – even if Biggs tweets reprehensible things about the
anuses of conservative political women like Janna Ryan, wife of VP
candidate Paul Ryan. It would be difficult to describe Biggs’ tweets
as anything other than the worst sort of cyberbullying. But
Nickelodeon doesn’t seem to care.

They don’t seem to care, even though one of their biggest initiatives
is their Anti-Bullying Initiative. The website for that initiative
insists, “Bullying doesn’t have to happen in person. Sometimes bullies
will say hurtful things on the Internet. It’s important to also learn
about cyberbullying!” Not only that – Nickelodeon encourages you to
“Stand up for someone that you see being bullied and tell an adult
about the problem.”

In that spirit, it’s time for Americans to get active and tell the
adult in the room – Nickelodeon – about the problem. In fact, our
Managing Editor, Alex Marlow, has already emailed West Coast Vice
President Ariana Urbont:
Hello,

I'm an editor for Breitbart News. Recently, one of your employees,
Jason Biggs, tweeted to his 100,000+ twitter followers misogynist
remarks about the anuses of two prominent Republican women, Janna Ryan
and Ann Romney. As of now, Nickelodeon has not made a public
statement against the actions of Mr. Biggs. I would like to offer you
the opportunity to get on the record regarding these tweets. If not,
the public can safely assume that you are standing by Mr. Biggs.
Some quick questions:
-Do you intend to go forward with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle
reboot with Biggs as the voice of Leonardo?

-Do you believe Mr. Biggs' cyber-bullying of conservative women
compromises your company's anti-bullying efforts?
http://www.nick.com/thebighelp/anti-bullying

-Do you believe Jason Biggs' misogynist tweets about conservative
women will alienate families who watch your programming?

-If Jason Biggs had tweeted about Michelle Obama's anus, would he be
able to keep his job with you?

Was Jason Biggs really offering up his true feelings or was he just doing an
AMERICAN PIE style skit?

An open letter to Nickelodeon's West Coast Vice President Ariana
Urbont:
Dear Ms. Urbont,

I understand Nickelodeon is doing a reboot of "Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles" featuring Jason Biggs as Leonardo - the leader of the TMNJ.

TMNJ was one of my favorite shows from age five to seven. I'm fairly
sure anal bleaching and grooming were not featured on the show in the
late '80s and early '90s. I'm sure because I didn't know what anal
bleaching was until Leonardo informed me on his Twitter feed while
attacking the wives of prominent politicians.

I want to thank you at Nickelodeon, by the way, for directing me to
Jason Bigg's Twitter feed, or I would have never been able to teach my
wife about bleaching (it's a whole new world back there - thank you
Nickelodeon from the bottom of my heart).
Unfortunately my second eldest was also directed there. I just want a
clarification about the contents of this project because I don't want
my children learning about anal cosmetology until they are at least
8-9.
Studies show that children are very preoccupied with their appearance
between the ages of 5 and 7, and I don't want them to feel self
conscious about their rectal pigmentation at such a delicate age.

Furthermore, research shows anal bleaching can be dangerous and is not
recommended for use on children under the age of 7, so I don't want
them getting any harmful ideas. And at this time my wife and I cannot
afford laser anal hair removal for the kids, either.
Also, while I regularly teach my kids to win disputes with those with
whom they disagree by sexually demeaning their wives, I think Leonardo
may have gone a bit too far. My daughters wear a modest bra size, so I
find ridiculing Janna Ryan's tits to be out of bounds, even if it were
just Raphael or Donatello.

Is Nickelodeon reinventing the Turtles as a porn quartet by any
chance? Because if so I might want to see it even if we will have to
hire a baby sitter. I'm worried though because April is the only
woman, and while I'm sure she will have a pristine asshole, four
turtles with one chick doesn't really work for us.

Thank you for your understanding and assistance,

Simon and Maria Templar

How many tweets about the anuses of conservative women does it take to
get fired from Nickelodeon? More than two, apparently.

Yesterday, Breitbart Managing Editor Alexander Marlow emailed West
Coast Vice President of Nickelodeon Ariana Urbont about Jason Biggs,
star of Nickelodeon’s reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles. Biggs
recently tweeted repeatedly about the anuses of the wives of Mitt
Romney and Paul Ryan. Nickelodeon then directed viewers to Biggs’
Twitter feed.
Today, Urbont responded by standing foursquare behind Biggs:

The offensive comments made by Jason Biggs last week on his personal
twitter account do not reflect our company’s views or values, and we
condemn them. Nickelodeon does not support or condone the use of
graphic or vulgar language on any of our platforms. It was our mistake
to link from our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles twitter feed to Jason’s
personal twitter account, and we quickly corrected our error. We also
insisted Jason use better judgment and discretion in public
communications while affiliated with our brand.

This is not exactly a comforting thought for parents. Biggs remains
the face of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, though his offensive
comments on Twitter – and link with Nickelodeon while making them –
should be unacceptable. For Nickelodeon to continue supporting Biggs,
even if they stop linking to his Twitter feed, is indecent.

Imagine if Biggs had tweeted about the “bleached asshole” of Michelle
Obama. Would Nickelodeon think twice about firing him? Of course not.
But when it’s Republicans being slandered – or Republican wives –
Nickelodeon and Viacom (its parent company) seem to have no problem.

Feel free to email Urbont yourself at Ariana...@nick.com to let
her know that you and your children will not be watching Nickelodeon
until Biggs finds a new channel with which to associate.

Uh, have you heard the songs that the voice actors Janet Varney and Grey
DeLisle sing? <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0Mvr7VA2iQ>

Lighten up.
