A knight who says: 'Ni!!'

Well, they couldn't have used a *real* dead parrot, could they?
Somebody would have been sure to eat^h^h^h bury it before they
could film the sketch. And they couldn't have killed it just
before the sketch, that would have been too cruel. I reckon
they used a live Norwegian Blue, stunned it just before the
sketch, and nailed its head to the floor at the end.

Hello. I happen to know the parrot in question personally. His name is
Philbert and he currently lives in Beckston on Twee, Essex. When last we
spoke, I mentioned to him what an amazing performance I thought he had
given as the "so-called Dead Parrot" in that now classic episode of the
Monty Python series, to which he replied, most appropriately, I
thought... "Polly want a cracker". I do think that the theatre has lost
a golden opportunity to exploit the amazing talents of this plucky
little bird, particularly after the BBC (the swine) turned down his
proposal for an all parrot production of "Hamlet" in 1976. One can only
hope that the executives who control the most powerful broadcast media
throughout the British Isles will someday come to realize their mistake,
and be struck down with boils and running sores and a bad case of the
"Roundhead Revenge", whatever that turns out to be.
Yours Truly,
Brig. Gen. Arthur Abbreviated (ret)
PS: What the hell does "PS" mean, anyway?

>and blink its eye... Are we being framed here? Tell me...
No he's not dead, he just sleeps a little bit.

This from the same people who broadcast "New for Parrots?" They
obviously don't know their audience, do they?
