Hi there,

In a few weeks, I'll make a trip to Scotland. Since I'm a big Python fan, I
would like to visit some castles from The Holy Grail. I already know of
Castle Stalker (Castle Aaaaarrrrrrgggghhh). Are there any more castle in
Scotland that were used in The Holy Grail?

Thanks!

Mark

Hmmm, not to my knowledge. I've seen Holy Grail about 5 times, and that was
the only castle I know of that was in the movie.

So they used the same castle for the castles at the beginning too? (A
swallow carrying a coconut? and the French one)

One was even shown falling over in the trailer.

Some scenes were filmed in the London Studios,
but locations were:

Arnhall Castle, Scotland, UK
Bracklim Falls, Scotland, UK
Castle Stalker, Scotland, UK
Glencoe, Scotland, UK
Killin, Scotland, UK
Sherriffmuir, Scotland, UK

Doune Castle, Stirling, Scotland, UK

(Source: Internet Movie Database)

So all outdoor shooting was done in Scotland.
