Hi All.

When Life Of Brian came out, I went to see it at the pictures and it was
preceded by what I thought was an ordinary travelogue. It was going on about
Rome, Venice and stuff and all of the voice started getting a bit manic and
ranting on about 'More fucking gondolas'. I hadn't realized until then that
it was being read by John Cleese and the travelogue turned into a really
funny sketch.

Does anyone else remember this? Is it available anywhere?

I haven't seen or heard of it since.

Lee.

Hi Westley.

Today is the first day that I have seen this newsgroup. Is my question one
that gets posted a lot?

Lee.

Nah. That's the one where Mr. Smoketoomuch goes to the travel agent looking
for a more exciting holiday alternative to Spain.

It's called "Away From it All", approx 10 minutes or so, and yes it is narrated
by John Cleese (as Niel Farquar-Bennet). I have it, but don't know where else
it's available.

Actually, this is a fairly rare question that just happened to get
asked by 2 different people in the same week.

G'day Sheila.

What do you have it on? Is it on a video that you bought, or did you see it
on the telly or something?

Lee.
