Does anyone know why MP used the church figure they did in the handgrenade
scene in the Holy Grail?
I'm asking because, when I was at my parents' house for thanksgiving, my
nephew and I were watching the movie, and my mother was around most of the
time.
Horing the Handgrenade scene, she listened in, and said "Oh, I've heard of
that guy...He was Latvian, blah, blah, blah."
It being an obscure name, and me being Latvian, I was naturally interested...
But I can't quite remember his name...

Anyway, thx ahead of time, and please email the response, because my
server gets 1 out of 3 articles... on a good day.

Saint Attila, patron saint of large weapons and explosive devices, who first
blessed the Holy Handgrenade of Antioch [Arm. 2:9-21]...

Ummmm ... bad news.

"And St. ATTILA raised the hand grenade up on high saying ... "

Attila. As in the Hun Show, or the Nun, or the Bun.
