It *sounds* like "ekky ekky ekky ekky f'tang za-boing (and other silly
noises)" the paranthetic comment sotto voce. However some smart-arse is
bound to know eggsactly what is said. I'm not too sure about the number
of "ekky"'s either.

What Python sketch contains the immortal line, "Never a willow" ?
Paddy.
I've got a thingy here that sez it's...
Ecky-ecky-ecky-ecky-pikang-zoom-boing-z'nourrrwringnmmmm
But that's not quite it. (I got mine from listening to the film and
tape excessively.)

"Shut up! This is a hold up, not a botany lesson.
NOW no false moves, please. I want all the lupins you've got."
"Lupins?"
"Yes, lupins! C'mon, c'mon!"
"We haven't got any! Honestly!"
"Look my freinds, I happen to know that this is the Lupin Express."
"Oh, damn! Here you are."
"In a bunch! In a bunch! C'mon concord!"

If I remember correctly, they say "... We are now the knights who say
'EKKI EKKI EKKI PTONG' " followed by a 'ZUMBOING' something or other
which fades off into the distance.
PS - Note the little knight in the background who obstinately continues
saying 'NI' and is hushed by the others.

That's funny i thought is was:
ekky ekky ekky ekky fatang za-whoop-ba nee-wop
the "fatang" is the same is the policeman used in the "Buzz Aldrin" sketch.

Erm... could be, but I don't think that quite gets it.
In reality, it's just a mumble with a couple of sounds in it. I
think the one with the z'nourrrwringnmmm in it is possibly the
official one, but that's not wot it sounds like.
>the "fatang" is the same is the policeman used in the "Buzz Aldrin" sketch.
Erm, no. That's almost definitely wrong. It is true that MP use the
phrase "f'tang" (That's how they spell fatang) a lot... in three
sketches I can think of off the top of my head, but I don't think
that's the case here.

I was under the impression that it was Spike Milligna (the well-known typing
error) who first used the word f'tang.
It's certainly a good word, but not as good as `oo-wooble'.

Yeah. I must agree with you there, but Splunge is, itself, not too
bad.

Sorry, that was a typo, I meant to say "p'tang."
