John Cleese
On One of the World's Most Hilariously Irritating Home Videos!

Snooty restaurant managers, sadistic bureaucrats, aggravating garage
mechanics, obnoxious movie chatterboxes, annoying dates, nagging
parents, relentless salesmen... for some people irritation is a way of
life. For the rest of us, it's something we have to suffer in seething
silence... until now! Here's the master of maddening, John Cleese, with
a hilariously irritating home video that shows you how to turn the
tables on those evokers of everyday exasperation once and for all!

Don't get irritated... GET EVEN!

Now you can pay back all those people who irritate you in the way they
deserve. And you may even do it to them before they can do it to you!
Cleese gives you the know-how you need to irritate others for business
or pleasure. The creator of the one-and-only Basil Fawlty, he
demonstrates his uncanny ability to get and to keep victims just the
right temperature under the collar... one degree below the boiling
point!

14 Classic Comedy Sketches

The secret is making it seem that it's all totally unintentional. You
may even disguise it by seeming to be considerate. They'll be plenty
frustrated, but never visibly angry. Cleese shows just how all this may
be done in a series of 14 uproarious classic comedy sketches, aided by
Python pals Michael Palin and Graham Chapman, Fawlty Towers' Connie
Booth, and Goodie, Tim Brooke-Taylor. Recorded in front of a live (and
thoroughly annoyed) audience, it's John Cleese at his brilliant best!
This is a video that no fan of Monty Python or Fawlty Towers will want
to miss. So don't get irritated--don't delay. Order your copy of JOHN
CLEESE ON HOW TO IRRITATE PEOPLE today! VHS.65 min.

I got it as a christmas present over break, along with The Dead Parrot
Society. both are excellent, however, friends of mine had trouble
watching all of How To Irritate People, as they complained that it was
too damn irritating. truly a must-see type of thingy.

It is really new to video: it's been available for about 3-4 months, I
guess. It is REALLY hilarious, especially if you work in a
service-oriented profession, i.e. video rental!

Gina aka my video knowledge doth astound thee?

a) I gave it to my mother for Christmas, but we never got around to actually
watching it.
b) Yes, it seems to be new on video, but the cover said it was from '69 or '71
or something like that.
