Hi, I wondered if anyone knew or had a copy of the lyrics to the song the
minstrel sings about Sir Robin ('he was not afraid of, etc etc'). Thought that
was the single funniest part of the film...

thanks

I think you mean this bit:

Brave Sir Robin ran away,
(No!)
Bravely ran away, away.
(I didn't!)
When danger reared it's ugly head,
he bravely turned his tail and fled.
(No!)
If brave Sir Robin turned about,
apparently he chickened out..
(I didn't)

I was actually thinking of the earlier part, where Sir Robin gets scared
hearing what he isn't afraid of (before he meets the three-headed guy). This
verse is also good, though...

Minstrel's song #1

Bravely bold Sir Robin rode forth from Camelot.
He was not afraid to die, O brave Sir Robin.
He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways,
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin!

He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp,
Or to have his eyes gouged out and his elbows broken,
To have his kneecaps split and his body burned away
And his limbs all hacked and mangled, brave Sir Robin!

His head smashed in and his heart cut out
And his liver removed and his bowels unplugged
And his nostrils raped and his bottom burned off
And his penis--

Minstrel's song #2

Brave Sir Robin ran away,

Bravely ran away, away.
When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled.
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly, he chickened out. Bravely taking to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat,
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin.

bravely bold sir robin
rode forth from camelot
he was not afraid to die
oh brave sir robin
he was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways
brave brave brave brave sir robin
he was not at all afraid to be smashed into a pulp
or to have his eyes gouged out
and his elbows broken
to have his kneecaps split

and his body burned away

brave brave brave brave sir robin
his head smashed in and his heart cut out
and his liver removed and his bowels strung out
his nostrils raped and his *mutters* tum ti tum
and his penis...

mind you, this is all from memory!

fairy hedgehog has been terminally pythoned.
p.s.: brave sir robin ran away
bravely ran away away
when danger reared its ugly head

he bravely turned his tail and fled

he did not wish to hang about
apparently he chickened out...
p.p.s.: corrections on my fallible memory are welcome
