What's going on in the Mike-iverse?

Hey everyone,

I was reminded recently of this group's existence by a notification, and looking over it I see that there's been very little activity this year or the last. A decade or so ago, this place was fairly active. What's with the silence? How's Mike?
Anyway, I don't want to sound pushy or anything. I'm just a little saddened to see the board so quiet and curious to know what's new!

Part of what you're seeing is the general decline of usenet over the
last decade; nearly all of the newsgroups that used to be very active
have pretty faded away. This is one of them.

As for your actual question -- I haven't seen any updates by or about
Mike in a long time.

Well that's a bummer. Is the Jittlov fan community active anywhere else? I'm sure people didn't just stop being fans of him.

I will also reply here. I def know there is still a fan community and have a pic of 2016 selfie from the wizard sent to a glaswegian group of film manics. Tried to send you stuff but am crap on tech believe it or not ha ha.

Oddly this is the most active place for him I've ever sen. With Facebook, etc. you'd think there'd be a much larger fanbase but the few things I've found are very sparse...at best. :(

James here - I'm still trying to keep the Jittlovist Tumblr updated whenever I find something new, and am still always on the lookout for fresh info on Mike. He still lives at 902 Maltman Ave and the phone number on the contact page still works, though he tends to keep odd hours so you might wind up waking him by accident! I've spoken to him a couple of times this year and he's been very engaged and generous with his time throughout.

Thanks, I recently watched the movie and started reading about him - I followed your tumblr. I love reading the stuff he writes, glad to know he's still doing things!
