So I know that this group has been around since the dawn of time, but it's pretty low volume at this point, and difficult to access and read unless you know to go look for it. I think we should move over to having a Mike-Jittlov subreddit. Any thoughts on this? I honestly didn't realize this group was around at all any more.

In article <46c899ec-7da3-4ac6...@googlegroups.com>,
Reddit seems to be in the throes of a bad case of "Owner has
lost sight of what made the site valuable in the first place,
and is alienating all the contributors who ever made the site
worthwhile in his grim determination to extract all the golden
eggs at once, even if it kills the goose."

I'd wait to see how this donnybrook shakes out before
relying on Reddit for anything.

There is the Facebook page,
https://www.facebook.com/WizardofSpeedandTime/

It contains a post about the possibility of a WOSAT cast reunion the weekend of Sept 30 and Oct 1 2023 at the LA Convention Center. No details were posted, but there is a horror movie convention at the LA Convention Center that weekend which has John Massari listed as a guest.

Received notice that Google Groups is closing new Usenet content. 8(

Was writing an epic finale post, thanking all the hypercreative genies who have given this humble newsgroup life and existence since 1992. 'Til this wizard ran out of time and caffeination.

Just answering the most emailed question. Yup, still alive, at 75. And there's still hope, for continuing the WOSAT saga at a revived WizWorld.com.

This groups will remain active on all non-Google Usenet servers. (I
hope that I am not the only one here that uses such a server.)

No, you are not! I've been on eternal-september ever since my
university discovered I was the only usenet user on campus and shut down
its feed sometime in the 2000s.
