Afternoon sports talk show host Todd Donoho has been fired by KSPN.
Donoho said he was told Friday by program director Ray Kalusa.
"It was simply a case of the station having a new program director,
and me not being involved in his plans," said the former Channel 7
sports anchor, who had been at the ESPN-owned radio station for 18
months.
Sources said finances may have also come into play, because Donoho is
said to be the station's highest paid on-air host.
Donoho has worked part time for KSPN sister station KLOS-FM for 15
years. He said he assumes he is done there too, since his contract was
tied to both stations. Donoho was at Channel 7 from 1989 to '98.

Well, he's still a "friend of the Program"; they'll probably call him.
Unofficially, of course. :)
