i regularly check the Mt St Helen's volcano cam, as it calms me at work when
i get pissy. anyway, lately it's been overcast over the mountain. today's
picture around 7AM, it looks like it's clearing up a bit. It is covered
with snow. The dark picture is very beautiful.

Hey, it gained some snow since I checked a few days ago!

I still like that FAQ page you found showing the common mistakes - i.e. dark screen = night, etc.

speaking of the dark screen = night. I tried that one night, about 10pm. I
couldn't believe it!!!! Paul and I laughed a good long time at that one.
We still chuckle about it every-so-often.

its like one of those silly post cards they have where its just a black card
with the text that says " san diego at night"
