No kidding! I would think they would have Snopes up all of the time
but I guess not.

If I had a nickel (or maybe a dollar) for every email I've received
that could be easily disputed from snopes that people send out, I
would be almost rich.

I've found that I have to check multiple sites. Snopes isn't always
accurate or complete.

As an example, they state this email is true:

http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/blairholt.asp

Pay attention to the part in the email that claims, "You will submit
to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing".
Since they distinctly said the email was TRUE, then it is understood
that the entire email is true. Otherwise they'd state MIXTURE, MIXTURE
OF TRUE AND FALSE INFORMATION (both of which are used on the site).

But when you scroll down and read further it says, "Contrary to the
example e-mail quoted above, the bill would not require applicants to
'submit to a physical and mental evaluation at any time of their
choosing'"

Since I heard the hearse rumor before and checked into it, I knew
Snopes was right on this one.
