He really should have shown up for that race. He would've had a part
in authentic Usenet history. I have to laugh, tho... whenever I'd
check in to see the progress, I'd have a perfect mental image of a
real farm truck like the ones I remember from my childhood... the big
old Chevy with a flatbed and rails up the side with plywood, all
slidin' and shakin' going around the curve. A stray cabbage or two
rolling around. I'd be in the middle of a shiteous day in my office
and I'd dial up alt. celebrities and sit there and read that looney
crap and it actually gave me a moment of sanity and charm in a
charmless day. So thanks to Fred Hall and DitaFuck. LOL. The whole
goddamn place would be on fire and I'd be leaning back in my chair
reading those lines on a screen and laughing my ass off with a deadpan
face to the world.
