A fart is a chemical substance, It comes from a place called bum
It penetrates through the trousers, and lands with a musical hum
To fart, to fart, tis no disgrace, for it gives the body ease
It warms the blankets on cold winter nights and suffocates all the fleas

This might sound like a dumb question, but did she make that up? It's
actually a lot better then some of her song lyrics.

she didnt write it. i first saw it on a bathroom wall in 1975. she was 17 at that time. its much older than her i'm sure
