I love it! it's the best one, her voice sounds so weird on that, like Chrissie
Hynde, "Crimes Of Passion" is great too, a blueprint of Into The Groove, I love
the 4 new songs, but the demos and remixes aren't so good!

Sanctuary, Don't Stop and the fabulous Bedtime Story lowlights ??? These would be
major career accomplishments for anyone else including Mariah, Celine,
Br(sh)ittney, Cher, Any Spice-person, etc. Not knocking your right to your opinion
though. : )

I used to hate that CD too....I don't think I had listened to it in probably 10
years, but after the Gap commercial came out, I actually have been listening to
it a lot. I really think that DRESS YOU UP and ANGEL are some great classics,
and although the rest of the CD is fluffy, I just have to keep reminding myself
that this is what made Madonna back in the 80's. Kinda weird that this was her
biggest CD and that it was so "fluff"....and now in 1999 fluff is back..bigger
than ever.

Right, I knew this opinion would be contentious so let me just explain, I don't
understand why anyone would defend Don't Stop, she had developed her music so
much by then to return to an unimaginitive pop sound, she even sounds bored on
that track. I never liked Sanctuary, I know it's ambitious but it has such an
annoying sacharrine melody much like Frozen which is another that many love and
I hate and it isn't sexy which it tries to be, like a lame attempt at emulating
That's the way love goes, as for Bedtime Story, well that's also ambitious and
was a brave attempt at doing ambient but it's basically a Bjork song, those
words may sound fine when Bjork sings them but they just don't work when
Madonna does, it doesn't seem right for her, however that track was redeemed by
the brilliant Orbital and JV remixes and I'm glad she released it as a single
so it was improved on, ditto Human Nature, Fever and Love Don't Live Here
Anymore - who'd have thought that would ever become good!

I did not realize how difficult is was to rank these, the only album I
really don't like ll that much is Like A Virgin #'s 1-6 were the hardest
